Are there any seduction techniques that don't emphasise push-pull tactics, like teasing girls by withholding attention and playing with girls who are already showing interest in you? Although I can see the validity of these ideas, I am not at all convinced that they will work for me, because I am an ugly boy who never gets even a tiny bit of interest from girls, and am cursed with high standards that I cannot lower.

The problem with push-pull tactics is that the girl needs to value my attention in order for them to work, and when the girl in question has ten Alpha-Chads in her social circle that she could schedule a date with in a matter of seconds if she wanted to, why would she even notice the fact that the short, ugly guy decided to walk away from her table because she was giving vague answers?

I'm sorry if this post sounds weird, but the whole current mentality of "you can only flirt if you don't try" seems completely paradoxical. Surely there must be a way to sell the girl on my personality through flirting with her to make her feel great, because I really don't have anything else to rely on.
