Depends. If thats the style you're going for it can work but the attraction already has to be there and it will only work on a specific type of girl.

Yep, I did this a month or two ago. I had this one thing going with a girl(Girl A) already.

I was hanging out at my friends house and a girl(Girl B) I had flirted with last year was there. During conversation the thing I had going with the other girl came up. A normal person would try to minimize that or something. I didn't hide it.

A few days later I texted Girl B to hang out and we took a nice hike through some woods. I built up the kino the whole time(helping her down from logs, leading her, putting my hands on her hips, etc.). At some point we sat down on a log and she called someone. While she was doing this I put my arm around her. When her call ended she turned to me and asked "Are you hitting on me?" "Yes."

"Didn't you say you had a thing with Girl A?" "Yes."

"Oh... so this would be more of a FWB thing?" "Yep."

"Let me think about this for a minute...(thinks for literally a few minutes, I'm cool as a cucumber the whole time) Alright. Sounds good." "Cool, let's go back to your house."

But I'd like to mention - this will definitely not work with every girl. Girl A probably would have slapped me. I knew Girl B was much less feminine(from the way she talked/her mannerisms, etc.) so I thought it had a good chance, and I knew she was pretty attracted to me.

I've done this, and the times it's worked it has been on the hottest and most interesting girls I've had the honor and pleasure of fucking and getting to fall in love with.

I'll give my three most recent examples, 2 successes and 1 failure; well the failure is still premature.

This led to a ~6 month relationship, awesome chick!

My second success was with another older woman, 28 HB7. Met her in Chemistry class, ring on her finger, I decided to put the cards on the table. We were passing notes, bullshitting back and forth, and I go for it. "Wanna be study buddies? (123) 456-7890, I give her my number and she hesitates...Bam! She gives me her number. She calls me after class and we start talking. I ask her about the ring she tells me she's engaged, so I say, "that's a shame, how about I borrow you for one night and then drop it?" She say's no, we remain friends and end up falling in love and have an intese relationship. She ends up going back to her fiance and leaves me heartbroken. I would not do anything different, this girl remains a huge part of my life in the sense that she has changed me for the better.

TL;DR: Go for it dude, you never know what's going to happen. Have you noticed how everytime you see a hot chick that you don't approach, you feel like shit? Life, "fuck! I fucked up". If you don't go for it you'll never know what you're losing.

Depending on the context (place, how you meet) and the IOI, it's very possible.

For instance, beach resort in an Island (there's something about an Island... what happens on the Island....) Was out of town on business in a bigger city, when to a bar with some old friends that lived there. Waiting in line at the bar, chat up cute girl standing next to me. Conversation, in less than 5 minutes, starts with "oh I'm from out of town" to talking about meeting people in that city, to talking about dating, to talking about sex, to me asking her "welp, do you want to leave and have sex right now?".... And another 5 minutes later being in the bathroom with her.
