That's normal. When I was 16, a gust of wind blew by and I got a boner.

That's completely normal but one thing is for sure. You either ask them out or stop wasting your energy on them. Always ask yourself this "Is this girl going to matter in 3 months for now?" If no, then move on and continue to focus on yourself. You're 16 perfect time to start hitting the gym (assuming you're not) and gathering useful knowledge you can use in your 20's. Now, if you just want to experience and up your game then go right now and start talking to them and if you're truly in love then ask them out. Worst case they say "No" and you move on with your life just don't let girls bring your self-esteem down.
