You probably know a guy who’s great with women: someone who is most at home in public environments of intense social scrutiny and can seemingly pick up almost any girl. When they’re in the hunt, they possess a kind of sixth sense: the innate ability to successfully screen, select, and seduce women without breaking a sweat. For you, being at his side is disheartening: making you feel socially awkward as you compare yourself unflatteringly. I’ve been there too: you are in awe of this skill, but it forces you to make excuses for why he’s scoring with girls and you aren’t. But he’s not a “natural”: in a few easy steps, you can develop that skill and become better then he’ll ever be.

In the process of becoming great with women you can develop that sixth sense: a seemingly magical power of foresight. In The Matrix, Neo (played by Keanu Reeves) is introduced to the Oracle, a computer program disguised as cheerful old lady, designed to predict the future. “Don’t worry about the vase.” She tells Neo, seconds before knocks over a precious flower vase. Frazzled and amazed at the Oracle’s predictive ability, Neo profusely apologizes. “I said don’t worry about it.” The Oracle casually replies.

This sixth sense isn’t a supernatural power at all. By the time you’ve had thousands of interactions, you will be able to recognize critical patterns in an interaction, giving you an attractive, experienced demeanor.

For the early days, your bread and butter will be interactions with girls who are with their friends: these are generally girls who are out to meet guys and hook up. In your initial approach, in two-dimensional conversation, you want to become aware of five different obstacles that can keep you from hooking up with women.

  1. Logistics: How far away is she? Does she live alone? How is she getting home? Is getting rid of the friend going to be a challenge?

  2. Built in Obstacles: Does she have any deep-seated beliefs that will prevent short-term or medium-term seduction (ie. religious, political, familial, etc.)

  3. Short-term goals: What are they doing at the moment? Are they waiting for anyone? Look to see whether the girl you’re talking with is engaged in conversation with her friend, checking her phone, or looking about the bar. To find out her current state of mind, tease her about being adventurous or spontaneous. If she responds positively, keep probing. Illicit reactions as much as possible:emotionally reactive girls are much more prone to seduction.

  4. Expectations: Is she looking for a single-night lay, a relationship, or a husband? Try asking about travel ambitions. If she’s looking to roam, she’s probably in the first or second category.

  5. Commitments: The biggest question – is she single? Sometimes she will let you know early on. If not, screen for the boyfriend indirectly by pointing out a random in the club and asking: “Why are you going out with that guy?

If the girl you’re talking to fills any of these five categories, ask one or two more screening questions to get a straight answer, disguised in role-play or teasing. Like the Oracle, you’ll quickly be able to detect patterns and single out your target, honing in for the goal with ease.
