The best way to stop giving a fuck about other people is to start giving a fuck about yourself even more. Fix the things in your life (outside the bar) that are still broken.

Next time you're in a club or feel like this do this Look around at all the people having a good time do you thinking they care about you? Do they even know you? Then remember we are all on a own personal jerouney nothing anyone else says or dose effects you, as you are your own man independent of anyone else.

mmm. This is an internalization problem. You need to form good mental habits to avoid this type of thinking.

The first thing you should say to yourself when you catch yourself forming this pattern of thought is:

"I am my own person. They are their own people. Their thoughts, feelings and actions have nothing to do with me, and they have no bearing on my thoughts, feelings and actions."

If you can tell yourself this, take four slow, deep breaths, and try to just relax the tension in your body and smile, you'll see improvement in a week. Will these feelings ever go away? Maybe, but that's not important. Learning the mental deceptions your mind loves to indulge in and heading them off with rational responses is a powerful technique, and you will eventually internalize that that thought pattern of jealousy is silly and pointless and you will begin to feel those feelings less and less.

I'm afraid of this turning into a wall of text, so I'm going to try to summarize. Use mental discipline to stop feelings of competitiveness and jealousy that before they even start. If you want, I could elaborate on this theory of internalization and how it has the power to change your mindset on everything in your world.

It's as if you put my past mindset into text. I used to think exactly like you wondering why all theses women weren't bowing down to me, knowing how absurd the thought of that is. What I started doing was working out, attending more school functions and just talking to more women. I quit focusing my thoughts towards other people and instead pointed them inwards towards myself.
