You know that feeling when you're really sleep-deprived but not really tired (maybe hungover) and everything is kind of funny and you say retarded and/or hilarious stuff and you just don't really care about anything but you're still in a good mood and have no idea why? Convince yourself that is how you feel. Think about whatever is right in front of you. It's simple observation mostly.

The zen-like thing probably isn't possible for everyone so that may be horrible advice considering it might conflict with one's entire game anyways. I've always had the most fun with the goal of entertaining myself. There is a certain amount of flippancy with anything though.

Well, you have to want it. Otherwise you won't be motivated to do anything, as you said. But instead of making it the end-all, be-all, take the attitude that it's just cake. It's nice but it's not essential, it just doesn't matter that much. You have a life without women. It's a hobby, a game.

Try attracting women without planning to actually close them. Establish a rapport, without the overriding need to have sex with them. It sounds like you might be outcome-dependent, maybe this will help you get out of that mindset. When you are able to get to rapport on a semi-consistent basis, then you can think about actually getting their pants off.

What seems to work for me is that I view seddit as a way to improve my life and carreer. I read somewhere that the best way to do this is to seduce everyone. Not only women, also men. So I'm less focussed on getting laid (though honestly, that really is not my goal to begin with) and more on advancing the 'game'.

You should care as much as you can; but you must learn to savor the process.

I'm going to echo everyone and say that you have to want it. If you don't try, you don't want it enough.

This seduction thing is a never ending process. When you think you're at a good spot and stop reading/posting, your results start to stagnate because you've deviated from the basics.
