Non-exhaustive list:

Emotional journey. Women respond to emotions so give her an emotional experience (e.g., tease, banter, story telling). This includes talking about interesting, emotion-laden topics (e.g., tough times, personal adventures or traveling, family).
Sexualizing. Make her feel sexy and desired by a strong male (e.g., flirting, compliment).
Educate. Teacher her about herself, the world, or people (e.g., psychology, how she comes across to you, world issues, philosophy, art, your area of expertise).
DHV. She enjoys being in the presence of an interesting, strong man. Share viewpoints and stories of qualities that make you a high value man (e.g., courage, honesty, adventurous, ethics).
Listening. Show that you care about her opinion and try to understand her view of the world. If you can reflect on it and demonstrate you understand her then you've built an emotional connection.

You don't need money or social status to be an attractive guy. If you play that game you lose because there will always be people who are richer and higher in social status than you, and you won't be able to keep her. Why play a game that's stacked against you?

The social skills and inner qualities I mentioned, these are your tools of seduction. They become apart of you and therefore make you attractive, not the external, material things associated with you like status or money.

Cold reading, stories, mentalism, magic tricks, bar bets, jokes, wit, manners, teasing, negging, and many others. Money and social status are irrevelant to all of those.

To answer both questions, by being really interesting and having fun conversation.

How to be fun and interesting? Plenty of info available but for a general overview, you need to build and maintain confidence, the "I don't really give a fuck" to social scenarios and have good stories and banter.

Regarding social status, that's easier to work on. Get hobbies and be passionate about what you like.

Regarding money, don't link your self worth to your monetary value. They don't go hand in hand. I'm assuming you do have a job that pays the bills. Dirt poor people can of course be interesting since money does not define you. However, the more basic level of not living with parents and being self sufficient is necessary or it'll become an issue. After that basic level it doesn't matter as much.

I've been wondering the same lately. Many women I know seem very adept at entertaining through conversation, making it a game of manipulating me to feel good about myself. For example, stories of their college experimentations with other women and how they "would love to try it again, maybe with you there. giggle and bat eyelashes" However, I, as a university student, have trouble saying anything that isn't factual/verifiable, and speaking with the intent of changing another person's emotional state feels cheap, and kind of like bullshit. I stick to doing exciting things, and leave sparkling conversation to them.

An exception, and really the only advice I have for you, is to teach her something. This obviously won't work in a club setting, but explaining something about the artist of a work she likes, or maybe talk about some local (not national) politics. There is nothing more valuable that can be spread through words than knowledge.
