Lead the interaction. Being vulnerable and open yourself shows strength ( you only hide your vulnerabilities when you cant make up for them ) and makes her feel as though she can open up to you. Never underestimate a non sequitur.

If you can do that, congratulations. You are capable of expressing yourself. “I want... to have deep emotional conversation. I think... I’m not very good at it.”

Another thing you could try is asking the person you are attracted to for advice or help. Yes, seriously, ask them for help about this. I know if a woman I liked came to me and said “I would really like to have a deep emotional conversation with you but I don’t know how.” I would be super flattered and very happy to help. It’s win win.

And if they don’t want to help you, they probably just wanted you for sex. All you can be is honest and hope you get honesty in return.
