It varies, I've had first dates that lasted a few hours and then we had a second and a third before we slept together. I've had first dates that lasted like an hour or two and we went home and slept together almost right away and then dated for a year afterwards. It really varies on the person, their experience, how long you had been texting before, if the other person works the next day. Good conversation is what goes the best.

30 mins each. If all goes well on the first date you can go on the second date immediately. This way you can have 3-4 dates before you sleep together.
