I started about 4 years ago. Took me about a year to start seeing how I wanted my life to be. I started getting good enough that people take notice about a year ago.

I'm about 1 year in. Hundreds and hundreds of approaches. One lay, which amazingly was pretty much my first ever cold approach. Beginners luck, I guess. PS - I'm old, and hitting on girls half my age, as that's what I find attractive.

But I really don't seem to be improving much if i'm honest.

I seem to be better at getting instant makeouts in clubs as a result of being 'braver', but it never leads to anything.

And when approaching girls in bars, I still struggle to hold their attention at all after opening, and I they are still intetrested in talking to me after I open, I just really don't know what to say.

If they are wearing a ridiculous outfit, or if say, some drunk girljust fell over, I have something to talk about, but without that rare thing, I just say like ''how is your night going', 'what do yuo do' etc, and I think I just bore them.

People say you;re supposed to be 'fun' after teh open and NOT ask them questions about their night, their job, their hobbies etc etc, but they never ever specify the sorts of things you SHOULD say, unfortunately.

And then on very rare occasions, i'm able to talk to them for a decent amount of time, and maybe get to tease them a bit about something they say, but i'm never sure of how much intent i'm supposed to be showing them.

Should they know that I like them romantically? People tell me I need to get HER to chase ME by being aloof. So i'm conflicted as to how i'm supposed to behave

stop playing video games completely. start reading books and becoming a fascinating person.

it took me about 6 months to get super comfortable with girls and around the same time for a first kiss. around 7 for my first lay and now im about to start again since im done with my current gf

Took me two years. Selling cars really helped me believe it or not. I learned how to talk to people and it help me build confidence to approach girls (people in general). After that, its been pretty easy

It's different for everyone. Having said that, invest in yourself and be okay with the journey itself.

Once you do that, there'll be no need to put a timetable on your success. You'll be so focused on growing in general that it'll just happen sooner than you believe. Really try to keep that in mind.

Varies really. Took me about 4 months to see results, but it was continuous and arduous effort, and I was trained by PUAs in a bootcamp

I asked them how long it took them. They told me that they became experts and it become effortless around the 2 year mark.

Basically, it does take a while, and it can be disheartening. My PUA told me "It was horrible when I first started. It was so emotionally draining that I always ended up going outside the club to smoke and start crying, wanting to give up so hard. But I kept going, putting in effort everyday and now.....I´m here". Stand up guy. He will always be my inspiration

Took me a year to be able to hold conversations with girls and have fun with them. I have a friend who seems like he is a natural, but when I asked him, he told me it took him years of practice to become a player. The results are insane though, he's both good looking with insane game and social charisma, he slays like nobody I know. He claims 300 lays and I have seen him get the hottest of girls to melt in his arms in a few minutes.

No years. Growing as a person is GREAT but most new guys just need simple drills to get themselves doing whatever they aren't doing. For instance: you almost certainly aren't going out 4-7 nights per week, opening at least 50 times (unless you pull first), sticking in set until they call security, or trying to pull 10 different girls per night. Most problems are very simple and unless you've eliminated them it's pointless to get too into more complex techniques.

That's precisely what I did. The first time I pulled was the day after my first bootcamp. Not an amazing girl, but better than I'd had before. I literally just stuck in set and kept blabbing and then moved her to the dance floor, and then to my hotel.

You can do it 100% dude. The only internal thing you need to solve before your first pull is to commit 100% to trying your best for real.
