How about just telling her your real age? I don't get it why people here would lie about it. That's a sign of weakness and insecurity. Don't be ashamed of who you are. Besides, she'll find out eventually if you spend more time with her.

I will usually ask them to guess how old I look or give them a completely ridiculous answer and ignore them when the ask for my "real" age.

I have this age problem except its me being 18 and the girls usually being early twenties. It's hard to find girls I don't know other than older ones... :(

I 'm 21 but I look older(24 to 27 or something like that)and I get the age question a lot. I usually have them guess.

No advice for you, but I'm a 24 year old woman and could pass for younger. I love saying "17". The look on their face tells me everything I need to know about what they think of me, and it's pretty funny to watch them sweat and then look relieved when I tell them my real age

Honest question: Why all the crazy teasing lines? Why not just tell the truth?

Her: "How old are you?"

Me: "23."

Her: "You're too young for me!" (Or some equivalent remark)

Me: "Heh, yeah. You'd never be able to keep up, old lady. ;)"

Why not that?

On my 35th birthday, I was asked this by quite a few people. I took a line from Style's book:

I'd say "30, how old are you?" and if they're a few years younger, i'd respond with "oh you're too young for me" or "you must be too immature for me." Girls like an older guy so feel confident in who you are and how old you are.
