You need to go to places where women are not in a rush. Going to approach women who have a destination to go to is much harder than women who are just trying to relax and pass the time. Find parks, bookstores, sight seeing places and/or social events near you that promote social interactions among individuals.

Only do that as practice to overcome your shyness but not as a general strategy. You should be going on about your day, chasing whatever purpose you have for the day and ONLY approach a woman if she really stands out to you. Then you can go out of your way to speak to her. But if you go out for the EXPRESS PURPOSE of picking up girls you will mostly fail as they can see your creepy weird vibe.

How about you find something real to do with your life, attract woman with your lifestyle. Roaming around looking for numbers it's just a waste of time. You should be taking to everyone: man and woman of all ages. Cold approach is for social skills building. But hardly ever leads to dates. Unless you are going to cold approach over 100 chick's with very little success.

Personally I don’t think headphones = don’t approach me. When you listen to music in public, do you do it because you want to be left alone or because you like music? Just approach them and if their body language looks annoyed, eject. Talking on their phone would definitely be a reason to not approach.

If you are coming at a woman who has AirPods in you better have top notch game when the pods come out. She will be thinking “WTF does this asshole want?!” Disarming that isn’t impossible. But it takes solid skill. Generally, social settings are better. The last thing you want is the awkwardness of trying to get her to pull the AirPod out, hear what you have to say and respond. That’s a lot to overcome. Obviously, if she is into you, you might have luck. But any woman with a decent level of self esteem will have ninja style defense up. Take an easier road.

Approaching is one of the toughest part of game, mostly mental. A lot of time as long as your not awkward, nervous, in your head women will be receptive and super nice 99% of the time.

When your out try asking women for genuine help maybe directions or your confused about something. You will notice headphones/talking to her friends does not matter as long as you have a nice vibe.
