Ok, let's be real for a second. Girls get approached by guy after guy who just doesn't stand out because they are boring. If you live your life in a way that cultivates curiosity, then you're on the right track.

Here are some things that have helped improve my conversations and overall game:

  • reading more books/listening to audiobooks while driving or commuting (mostly non-fiction)
  • watching as many documentaries as a I can (check out /r/documentaries for a great subreddit)
  • watching TED Talks from all different types of subjects
  • checking out interesting facts from /r/todayilearned
  • going to Trivia Nights on a weeknight at different bars
  • reading different magazines (I usually don't buy them, but just hang out at a Barnes & Nobles for an afternoon and read up)
  • just knowing your local city's main website for events (it is a great feeling to know all of the options for what is going on in a weekend, and people are impressed with someone who offers unique suggestions that break the mold and jolt people out of their comfortable bar/setting)

Obviously, trying too hard to drop some brain candy on people is a DLV, so let your knowledge arise naturally. It is a huge confidence boost to feel like you are bringing something different to a conversation/set than a typical guy.

Please share some things that you do in your life outside of pick-up that helps you have more interesting and stimulating conversations and interactions with women.
