I’m been seeing this girl for about 2 months with a 2 week and 3 week break in between (effectively a month tbh). We’ve been on like 5-6 dates and had sex. I think she likes me and is expecting for me to initiate the exclusivity conversation.

But I don’t think I want to be exclusive. I was waiting, thinking that we will form an emotional connection eventually but I don’t feel anything of the sort. I enjoy the physical intimacy but the dates themselves are progressively getting more boring and conversations more dull.

Here’s the thing though, around date 3, we had a conversation about what we’re looking for and I said long-term (which is true) but with her I don’t see that happening and I think now I’d like something more casual/fwb-ish with her. Am I in the wrong? If not, how do I approach this with her?
