Never label yourself as shy, I thought I was shy but this is BS. It can work for you if you are really handsome and you will accept the fact that girls will pick you up not the other way around.

I did this during some of my first dating experiences as a late bloomer:

Go for a kiss with the intention of getting rejected/no expectations. I was on a date with a girl I was very attracted to and had a crush on, I went for a kiss and I got a cheek slide. In the end, it didn't work out but I was proud I tried.

On a date with another girl, at the end of the date, I asked if I can get a kiss and after I saw no objection and a smile I just went for it, it was fine and she giggled.

Don't be afraid to fuck-up, you are just starting the journey.

How could I get over it?

you just have to do it. Put yourself in more uncomfortable situations and just go for it. You can't care if it goes bad and she never wants see you again. You have stop overthinking. Give your self permission to fail. You're going be bad at kissing and have back sex your first couple of times. It's normal.

But I don't have much experience

the only way to get experience is by doing it.

we don't really have these hugs/touches in our family

you have to learn how to be comfortable with being more affectionate.

don't be scared to tell girls about these things. most will be understanding. When I was first getting feet wet I would be open and honest that I didn't have much experience. It never stopped any girl from wanting to have sex or kiss me.

Its fear. The only way to get over it is to face it repeatedly. It will be awkward in the beginning, but remember that the more you learn, the easier youll get the really special ones later on

It also helps to put yourself in a situation where you’re around more girls that way you’ll get more comfortable and break touch barriers easier. For me it was working at Starbucks, I was the only guy in the store and a lot of the girls were touchy and chatty. I used to find it hard, but see it as if she breaks the touch barrier then you’re fine to go in of course, nothing inn appropriate. Keep things sweet and comfortable. I’d also recommend watching some rom coms and see how the guy in the film will act/how he touches ...good luck

Honestly, the best advice I can give you is to just get the fuck over it. I was shy and I was too horny to let it stop me from doing what I wanted. You have it in you, shyness is not stronger than you are. Your ancestors used to fight saber tooth tigers and hunt dinosaurs for Christ sakes.
