I get tripped up by this occasionally. I'm pushing 39 yrs old so I was a little self-conscious about talking to 20 yr olds but then I decided, fuck it. They can decide if I'm too old for them or not.

You have to not take that into account when opening. Sure theres a point where you can tell theyre on either side of young or old. Youre just going to have to open up more and talk to them to really find out.

sometimes it's really difficult to tell how old a girl is at nightclubs, never stops me from seizing a prime opportunity to talk to a pretty girl. Last time I was talking to a girl 10 years older than me, totally looked my age to me.

The location would dictate the predominant age group. For example if you are in downtown core, at 12-2pm most of the ladies would obviously be of a legal age. On the other hand if you are in the coffee shop next to a junior high, tread your ground softly. Bottom line is look around, the average age tends to be similar to what you can observe around. Gouge a few guys in the place, i find guys are easier to identify. But then again i was told im 21-22, and I am 27. Also as long as she is legal, get rid of the mindset that limits you to a certain age. I had a GFs 8 years younger, and 5 years older in the past, and both were great in their own way.
