I work in a furniture store and the radio is always playing the "top" music. Recently I noticed that every fucking song is selling a very NEEDY emotion. Its all "OoOoOoh baby I need your love or I can't live" and shit. Its so fucking needy and desperate sounding. Can't be helping the situation.

Because women agree with it intellectually and emotionally but not sexually. They see it on the screen and think it's sweet and say awwwwww but when it comes down to it they won't fuck that guy because there's no attraction.

I think the lesson that's missed is that the friend-zoned guy gets out of the zone by doing something masculine. Like George McFly in Back to the Future punches out Biff. We remember the sweetness and beta-ness and forget the alpha moment when it all changed.

UGH, as a girl and I hate that whole "persistent loser gets the girl" crap too. It causes creepy dudes I am NOT interested in to keep bothering me even when I've told them I'm not interested, and then to complain that I'm a shallow bitch because I'm not falling for them. (Yes, I can be shallow. I'm human. I want to date someone I find attractive and interesting, not someone who thinks of himself as "sweet" but is just needy and follows me around everywhere.)

Well to be completely honest, I still don't understand your emphasis on the persistence thing. You're right, it can show needyness and a lack of choice in other women, but in no way is it a disqualifier in itself, and can actually easily be helpful in a seduction if used at the right time. The importance of game is not necessarily knowing what to do, but rather when you do what and why. In all honesty, and this is coming from a guy who is not nearly as qualified as the actual masters out there, I'd say the emphasis should be on calibration and the fact that you're an alpha male.

Have you ever seen the SimplePickup guys in field? Mystery? Style? Any other alpha male PUA out there? They all have a certain persistence in their pick ups, and while it may not be what you're referring to, it still stands as persistance. Now, I realize I've ruptured my value by telling people I'm no more than a mediocre pick up artist, but anthropologically speaking the alpha male has to be persistent about a lot of things. He has to stand by what he believes in, fight for it if necessary, he has to be able to protect others disregarding social consequences and so much more. If you ask me, that's pretty damn persistent.

TL;DR: Persistance is not only a bad thing. Sometimes a player miscalculates.

You WILL get a girl that falls for that shit sometimes. Some girls with low self esteem will LOVE the fact that there's a guy kissing her ass all the time. Give it enough time and she'll completely lose respect for you. There's no challenge. No chase. Whatever she wants, there you are giving it with a smile. Like a dog with less hair and you can fuck without people giving you bad looks.

But, during my beta years, I never got a girlfriend that didn't have chronic low self esteem. And she always lost respect for me after a while because of this shit. But they never knew much better than me. One was a virgin at 22 before we hooked up (not that there's anything wrong with that, but she was seriously messed up in the head for other reasons now that I look back on it).

I'm a recovering-beta. Not all the way recovered, but getting there. I have been able to get dates with girls without someone hooking me up first. I have #-closed at a bar. I haven't gotten much else just yet, but I feel I'm making progress.

Edward Cullen: 100 year old creepy blooddrinker with a fetish for teenage girls, and strength/speed of a superhero.

Eric Northman: 1000 year old blooddrinker ,brutal killer, smug, arrogant, badass, extreme womanizer and manipulator.

Dexter: asexual serial killer

dr House: drug addicted cynical jerkass with a limp.

Do those guys seem beta to you? Pop culture gives us good examples how to behave to get pussy, we just have to have the balls to go for it, and copy the style/manerisms and charm those guys have.
