As someone who studied psychology and spent my fair share around people working through therapy, I strongly suggest you consider what you're attracted to as well.

Relationships are messy, I dated someone who had borderline most recently and took awhile for it to click.

They might be going through stuff or have personality issues but realize that their traits, how they project themselves are things you can find attractive.

Do screen them better. And sometimes that takes months, so always keep an eye out but don't let it stop you from being present and having a great time.

Whats your problem exactly? If it's that you have a moral issue against banging chicks who have too many issues to be attractive to you long term, then that's just a personal choice. Are you guilty for feeling too guilty to make a move? You don't need to bang a chick just because someone else would in the same scenario. Your personal choice is your own and some would argue moral, so dont feel bad for it.

This board makes it seem like the best path for a guy is to have as many ONSs as possible. It's not for everyone, and thats ok.

If your problem is attracting too many emotionally unstable women, then your biggest problem is screening and demographics. If you go out to clubs chasing wild promiscuous girls, they will have a higher rate of unstability than girls you meet a library. Once you meet more girls, you can recognize the wacky ones more quickly. Even if you're doing well gaming a girl and feeling good, you have to be prepared to move on when your spidey-senses tingle detrcting shes off. You're the prize and there's other girls for you to talk to.

I'm just going to rant cause I feel like it: you know the girls who can't help but always date assholes? Not all of them, but some actually seek out emotional abuse because that's what they're attracted to. Some attempt to relive past trauma. These individuals need to literally work against their instincts to find mates who treat them well, attractive.

Not saying this is you but that's the extreme spectrum of this issue.

As for your problem, are you here to bang or seek deep meaningful relationships? If it's the latter, focus on the interactions that are fun, meaningful and hopefully more sober. If you get along great with these people on coffee dates, that's a good sign.

I've heard the saying somewhere, "we all have baggage, but we're looking for people whose baggage matches". Or something to that effect. Every girl has baggage. Instead of feeling guilty what's more important (imo) is what they wanna do about it, if anything, and of you're willing to hang around/deal while they're doing it.
