What type of seduction? the "i want you to ravage me in a gentlemanly way" smile or the "i want you to make the first move cause it's fun/i'm shy" smile? there's a load of them and all have their own little subtle facial features that people don't notice right away but makes them instantly on or off for the remainder of the relationship.

Genuine smiles start with the eye squint. THE EYE SQUINT. Try it, but don't over due it. More like relax the eyes, then smile.

The best advice I can give you is to know the feeling of different types of genuine smiles inside out. It is basically practice.

How you get the genuine feeling is up to you; you could browser /r/funny with a mirror until you smile in a way that you think looks good and then try to replicate it.

It sounds silly, I know. I did this when I was 14 — well, not with /r/funny — to get rid of my socially awkward smile though.

Don't you feel kind of awesome when he looks back at you? For me, when someone gives me a couple IOI's like that, I feel great and it's truly hard not to smile. I basically assume attraction, so I think that she must think I'm cute and that makes me feel really good, so I start to smile and it's genuine.

Really if you are interested/attracted to a guy... all you have to do is look at him and let your body (smile) or inhibitions flow naturally to create the smile. Usually this will create a genuine smile and if the guy knows what he's doing he will smile back and it will be magical. The genuine smile becomes genuine because you find the guy attractive enough that you can't help but smile.

I do a little double eyed blink(not as creepy as it sounds) and slight smile and always hold it barely longer than is normally expected. The blink acts as a way to bring your "target" into focus and illustrate you're paying attention to their body language. The smile is just a reflection of your eye action. The term I use and swear by is "smile with you eyes". Practice it at the checkout or with a server when getting food. These people are payed to respond well to this sort of thing which builds confidence...which we all know is the the real simplest aspect of seduction. Good luck!

I'd like to re-inforce some of the recommendations made so far. I think that rather than practising how to paste an appropriate smile on your face you might want to consider "getting yourself in state".

If you are happy and you are having a good time then someone making eye contact with you will be a positive experience and this will naturally be reflected in your facial expression. Focus more on how you are feeling at the moment than how you are looking, and your looks will follow your feelings. You will already be smiling with your eyes and your face will be relaxed. Making positive eye contact while in state should cause your eyes to smile more, and your face to relax more and you will naturally find yourself smiling.

RELAX RELAX RELAX!

Are you not smiling because you think the hot guy is joking when he gives you attention? Back when I was shy, I would get defensive when people approached me because I thought they would try to pick on me. I identified myself as "quiet Internet nerd", but that was only a label I put on myself. When other people approached me, I only thought they would try to pick on me, so I projected my personal feelings onto others. In reality, they just wanted to be friends, and I was a defensive dick.

You DO have a natural smile. Learn to just relax and go with the flow. Search for that positive feeling in your body the next time you're with a guy. For me, it's excitement, borderline anxious. Fun, but at the same time challenging, because if I fuck up, the girl will lose interest.

Anyway, almost all of my actions come from that positive feeling. And when you feel good, and you're relaxed, a lot of what you do will seem "natural". So just feel good, and smile back! Don't overthink it, don't get paranoid, and relax. The guy is with you for a reason.

If you aren't honestly feeling the urge to smile when you make eye contact then it isn't going to work out. You should know how to smile based on the situation and not try to fake it. If you aren't the type to smile when you see something you like then do what you would naturally do. Approach him. Touch him. Cheers him. Squint your eyes. Whatever.

Most girls give me these particular eyes and this kissy-face/posture even from a couple feet distance, as if throwing out a homing beacon to reel me in. I don't even think they know they're doing it. I n/k-closed a girl last night that was literally staring at me until I smiled at her and she never smiled back until I had approached and got her laughing.

TL;DR - dont be fake. ever. It's easier and you'll have better results.
