Women want hope that something will turn into something serious eventually, that doesn’t mean they want it now or any time soon. However if something were to turn into something serious she is warning you that kids would not be possible because of her situation. Maybe it’s too soon to reveal that but maybe she just wants to be upfront from the beggining. Being upfront doesn’t necessarily mean she wants a commitment now, it’s just certain things to get out of the way. You don’t need to look so deep into it. She is going with the flow but also being upfront about limitations and deal breakers.

A few things you could have done differently:

1) She complemented your voice, and you proceeded to resume the text chain? That's like a woman saying "You have an amazing cock.", saying "Thanks", and zipping back up. You should have called her and told her you were there to help with her self-control.

2) She was being mature and upfront, but you interpreted her profile to mean something different. She was saying "You need to know that if this goes anywhere, I cannot give you children. Not I don't want. Not "I'm not sure. I physically can't". To which you replied "Well... I might want kids."

And she hit the eject button.

Now, I understand your intention. You were thinking: since her profile said "I don't know yet", and she had sex positive as one of her traits, that she was down to fuck, so what difference does it make. Why tell me you can't give me babies if all we're doing is fucking?

And if you don't see the irony. I can't really help you.

3) Dating is 100% an interview. And it should be a very lengthy one. You are interviewing someone for the most important roll in your life. Take all the time you need making sure they are the right person for the position.

Even if that position is just someone you only want to have sex with.

Shocking that you ask at the end why she can't keep enjoying the moment, when you're the one who fostered this serious and non-chill vibe. First off, when a woman is openly complimenting my voice and accent, I'm meeting her irl as soon as I can, not waiting a whole week. Gotta strike when the iron is hot. If I was free, even a meetup that same night could be on the table.

More to the point, this entire conversation was ridiculous and could have been pivoted away from literally from the start. You're talking too much. And what you're saying is neither flattering or reassuring to her. Less blowing up her phone over text and more focusing on meeting her in person.

Instead, you weirdly introduced "I'm probably not the one" and all these different scenarios. You need to be decisive and solid with women, not hit them with neuroticism and uncertainty. When you fail to do this, don't be surprised when she's anxious and unsure about you.

The rest of this is just trying to create logic out of women's emotions and how they feel in the moment--which will always rule the day. And yet again you're the one claiming she can't enjoy the moment. No, that's you. "Don't know yet" literally means that. Stop talking about it and move the hell on. By the end, you're crossing your fingers about a date that you talked yourself out of. A date that wasn't in doubt until you made it in doubt.

And OP, she was going into the future because she is certain on one thing - she can't have kids. That's a deal-breaker for a lot of men. She doesn't want to mess you around, and also doesn't want to be messed around as a pump and dump.
