I'm aware of the innumerable date idea threads already posted in seddit, but none of them deal in particular with dating after 8pm. I work pretty late and tend to date women who are also busy with their respective careers (we're still fairly young though, in our 20s) and we tend to go out after 8pm.

  • I want something that's an activity, fun and bonding and has a bit of that "she's part of your everyday life" vibe which should be present in later dates.
  • 8pm and later. Lots of options are reduced that late, so it's a bit of a challenge to me.
  • I'm also worried that if I always do stuff with them at my place, which is a nice pad and all, and is close to the bed, I will come off as a total homebody, which is not the vibe I want to give.
  • It would ideally have a few bounces in it, I believe it's commonly accepted that changing locations a few times is a great idea for dates.

Bars are overdone, cafes are clinical, we already know about movie dates, restaurants are cliche'.

I was thinking something in the vibe of cooking dinner or dessert, if it's too late. Taking a late class in something out of the ordinary is cool as well, figure drawing for example. It's also great if the girl is a gamer as you can always whip out a good couch co-op game and spend some time together as well, but it would only work on a certain category of women.

Thanks!
