I was reading this article here and the takeaway from it seems that if you open a woman and you look/feel anxious, you should at the very least admit that to her to defuse the situation and make things less awkward.

Has anybody tried this? All I've ever read seems to suggest that, even though you want to be in touch with your and her feelings, admitting one's anxiety is not very confident / dominant / alpha behavior and will tip the scales in the woman's favor. Or is admitting it a good way to go about it when you're still a beginner and continuously battling with serious AA, which almost prevents you from saying a complete sentence to a woman?

Any thoughts?
