Imagine 2 category of guys that are discussed a lot in seduction community:

Groups A. Confident (and everything associated with it), unapologetic, self-expressive, happy, energetic, knowing and asking what they want clearly, present in the moment, Authentic...

Groups B. Shy, needy, desperate, depressed, lost in any situation and life in general, always holding back, stuck in one's head (obsessive thoughts), fake...

If you've been in the community for a while I'm sure you can add a lot to each list. Something that has always interested me is the fact that these are like 2 mutually exclusive packages. You either belong to group A or group B and it's rare and that you're a mix of the two. Also it seems that characteristics in groups A are what women respond to and characteristics in groups B are what turns them off. Regardless of women it seems that groups A people have a happier and more fulfilling life. So I always wondered what's the root cause of this difference? What puts some people 'naturally' in groups A while I personally struggle a lot to show those characteristics? Is it possible to move from groups B to group A or it's all hardwired in your genes?

Anyway, believe it or not, there are a group of intelligent scientists who have been working on the same question for decades. They have dedicated their academic lives to study and trying to help people with those kind of issues. They are called 'psychologists'! I did some research to find some resources that are more directly related to what's called 'inner game' (Women are the main drive for self improvement here, aren't they?). I found this book called Healing the Shame that Binds You which I've found extremely insightful, I will finish it soon and will put a summary here when done if there's any interest. Has anybody else gone the same path? Do you want to share your experiences?

P.S. I did my best but I'm not a native English speaker so point out my mistakes and I will fix them.

Edit2: My main purpose for this post was an invitation to look at the common problems that bring most guys here from a different perspective. A more scientific approach if you like. All I want to say is that problems that I listed as group B are NOT discovered by seduction community for the first time! They are well known character disorders that have been studies for decades and different types of therapy have been proposed to deal with them. This type of approach might not be for everyone but I believe that many guys could benefit from it. The book that I mentioned above is just something that I could really relate to, but that's not the only one there are heaps of different books and methods that I'm really surprised nobody discusses them here. All the responses that I got here just made me more decided to put that summary up. I'm sure it will interest some people and will open a new way to look at the issue.
