It could be a great first date but only if they like it. I’d just mention that you love karaoke and if she says oh me too, then go for it. If she’s shy then maybe do a more laid back date and once you’re more comfortable invite her out with friends to a karaoke night. We have a really great karaoke bar down the street from the college I attended a couple years ago and one of the most fun group dates I’ve been on was at that bar, we drank and danced and sang with all of our friends which was wicked but I’m not sure it’s the best venue for a solo date.
