So, I think this is one of the biggest things that stops me. And it the fact that when I try something out, I worry about everyone else (in the "community") doing the same thing. Which in turn makes what I'm doing strange/weird to the girl (because she has heard it before).

For example, I came across something obscure once and told an acquaintance about it. Then I got paranoid he would start doing what i was doing and tell his friends about doing it (he is a wannabe marketer). It basically turned what I was doing from something I was comfortable with to literally stopping doing it (or paranoid when I did do it).

The above just bugs me. Any thoughts?
