A new girl joined our group meetup, and we see each other once a week. Started talking to her, had good conversation, so after a couple of weeks I asked to grab drinks. It wasn’t explicitly a date but I feel like it should have been pretty obvious.

Ended up meeting 1 on 1 before the meetup talked, conversation didn’t flow at all. Minimal kino that wasn’t reciprocated at all and she seemed physically very closed off. Check comes she offers to pay, I end up paying, and she makes a point to say she owes me and we need to do this again.

Following week we do the same thing, more kino with no reciprocation. She’s very physically closed off, but had better conversation.

I’m not sure if this is completely a lost cause since we’ll continue to see each other but it isn’t looking good.

My main question is how much is kino typically reciprocated and how do I get girls to open up more in the future?
