Go to the art museum and then go out for a late dinner
[–]boy_named_su 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Dinner is a terrible date. Might as well buy a hooker for that price

Bar near your home. Like, within walking distance. Seal the deal, my friend.

Girl here, this is the right answer. Non threatening starting location (we’re already suspicious if you want us to come to your home right away and then we can’t get away)

Be bold, cooking at your place for a second date is fine. You met through Tinder after all...
Alternatively go for drinks and escalate.

Second this. Be bold. Worst case she says she’s not comfortable with it, and you guys can do something else

I always have my second dates revolving around ending up at home. Cooking dinner and having wine, then movies is an easy one. Meeting at either ones house then going hiking, then when we get back have a few drinks. Doggy date then back for a few drinks.

If you're a good cook, then definitely suggest it. Why the hell not? That's not bold, it's a second date.
I gave a girl options: Drinks at a bar near a restaurant, table tennis gastropub, or coming over to my house.
She chose my house.

art museum, a slow walk in the park or beach, amusement park, cafe, bar

You can offer a choice, "I have a restaurant close to my place if you want, but I can also show you my talent as a cook! I do prefer home cook meals TBH!"
Leave her an alternative, if she doesn't feel safe being alone with you, she'll feel "threaten" and you'll have to work twice as hard to overcome the mindset created.
Subconsciously, offering the alternative makes you appear "safer" and she'll more likely go to your place.

Dude, be bold! If you are a good cook, suggest a dinner at your place. If she's uncomfortable but attracted, she will suggest meeting in public. I tried this on a third date, she said she'd rather meet in public and I was fine with that (she's moved slow), date 4 and every date after has been dinner at my place.
One tip though, you asked her for suggestions, don't do that. It sends a beta vibe. Either tell her what you are going to do, or tell her it will be a surprise (They love surprises), and if you make it a surprise, then make it unusual.

You could do museum or, my preference, a place with alcohol. Way too soon for cooking at your place
[–]TallDarkandBot 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Lol way too soon? That's my go to for a second date and i always close.
[–]Dating973 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Well ok maybe I should try that then lol

She's trying to get to "know you" and the path you're headed down leads to boyfriend. So what she's expecting from you is more monetary investment, with -possible- physical investment from her - if you manage to jump through her hoops perfectly.
The "natural" direction is a safe date where you spend money to impress her. Think dinner, movie, miniature golf, bowling, billiards. Maybe an art gallery. Maybe home cooked meal, maybe Netflix and chill.
However you play this, you're currently not running game, this isn't PUA that you're doing. There is no fast seduction in taking a girl on a series of dates.
Not that you won't get with this girl, you're just taking the traditional path.
How I would play this? Pick a bar near you, get one drink and invite her back to your place. I wouldn't be all handsy like you were during the first date. I'd tell her, "we're just going to make out, but then I got to kick you out"

You're doing a few things wrong already
1 - Do NOT schedule dates when the girl doesn't have time. Here it led to a date where nothing happened.
2 - Do NOT "agree with the girl", just specify X place and lead. You do not want to appear indecisive without a plan or worse, agree to a place with terrible logistics
3 - I would say do NOT take a girl you haven't closed to the restaurant, however restaurant downstairs is perfect as long as it's not expensive. If you even skip that and she comes to your place it's a done deal
4 - Avoid dates on Fridays and Saturdays
5 - Avoid meeting with very few days in between
Anyone care to defend their downvote or was this one of those posts that got downvoted because feelings were hurt?
[–]ls737100 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
What's with all the down votes, this is good info if a bit harsh. I wouldn't agree with no Friday's or Saturday's though.

This sub has a weird habit of upvoting posts with bad information and downvoting good ones. I know what I'm saying but feel free to do otherwise and learn the hard way
.3. The main reason why I don't take every girl to the restaurant is because my wallet would suffer. Also I don't think most people live near a good restaurant so they would shooting themselves on the foot by going to some place with terrible logistics. Final reason is that food dates will have the girl focused on the food for a large percentage rather than building tension
.4. Is a recommendation because most guys just never take action and scheduling dates here gives them another excuse to not go out. A girl who can only meet on weekend is a red flag for me anyways because she'll monopolize your weekends. (Which is actually happening to me right now and I'm having trouble pushing her from staying entire weekend at my place..)

What's wrong on Fridays and Saturdays?
[–]Luffydude 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
A lot of girls usually make their plans for those days so flake rate is higher plus you can just go do night game instead

Gotcha!
