So a few months back, I met a girl at a gathering at my mates place. We chatted for an hour. I turned on all of my kino, all of my charm and sexual intent projection. She really went for that. We went to a bar a few minutes later and when we got there, we danced and made out. She whispered in my ear that I was cute, funny and that I GOT HER. The fact that I get her is a demonstration of an emotional connection which I made with her. The emotional and linguistic manifestation of that connection was when she kissed me. Its all about the combination of your projection of intent, your kino and your willingness to push the boundaries in banter. Anyway, at this point in my pick up experience I had no reference experience where girls WANTED me. So when one of her nerdy friends who had no idea we had been getting in the whole night told me to fuck off and that "You aren't getting any tonight mate." I immediately assumed she had told him to tell me that, so what did I do? Instead of being alpha and pushing that cunt aside and carrying on flirting and gaming her, I decided that I wanted to go home and sulk like a bitch, like a beta. Worst mistake I have made in a while.

So I went home and then she called me...what she called me? Yep, she called me and asked where I was. Now, because I had already assumed her unattraction to me, I immediately took this as an LJBF move. A mixed signal. Why? Don't fucking ask me, I was...I am beta, but getting more and more alpha every day. So anyway, I messaged her a few days later for a date, but she flaked on me. Fuck, so yeah that call meant nothing in my mind. Just another friend zoning for Banana_Slut... Fuck. But then I read about this persistence bizz on Seddit, so I gave her another go. Nah, she was "busy". She actually was busy but I assumed she was just flaking on me so I gave up. Dumbass.

I had a bit of oneitis for this babe for a while, every time I saw her at uni, my stomach gave me that old "oh dude! Thats the one that got away! Haha! You're such a fucking failure! Ha!" That faded away when I got better at Pick Up. Got multiple numbers, made out with lots of girls at clubs etc, even made out with a girl in front of her!

Recently I met this other girl, a cute and sweet girl, a quiet and modest little red head with a heart of gold, and a fiery feisty side which I unlocked in the back of her car on our second date. I am really into her, get those butterflies in mah belleh every time I think about her. But since I still this Beta bullshit swirling around in my head, I get nervous, I keep thinking that I'm gonna fuck it up, I even posted about it a few hours ago on this very sub! But, but, but! I just received a message which flipped my perception, annihilated this anxiety, and made me feel like a complete bellend.

The first girl I was talking about now tells a friend of mine that she "misses me" and that she "liked me" and that, yes, "I SHOULD HAVE CHASED HER."

She still feels that emotional connection after so many months of not talking, so much time apart, she misses me. That emotional connection I created between us two is still there, it remained for that long. I now realise that girls WANT to he chased. They NEED to be hunted and gamed and lead on and reeled in and let go and grabbed and dropped. They crave it. They go wild for it.

Epiphany: Persistence my good men! Persistence! Emotional connections stretch for ages, and can be incredibly powerful when coupled with said Persistence!

Tl;dr: created emotional connection with girl, went beta and bailed when things got all vague and gamey. Recently found out that after ages, she still misses me. Also helped me with my current relationship which I (was) freaking out about.

Lesson: Don't give up so easy dude ;)
