Theivery Corporation's album The Cosmic Game. The whole thing.

I've only tried this once (no f-close b/c she was religious), but it worked pretty damn well. It sets a calm and relaxed atmosphere, and there's enough sound variety to add some excitement to the evening.

I developed a routine for this. Tell her you're going to take turns picking the best sex songs and whomever picks the best one wins. Then she goes first and you don't have to guess the genre that turns her on. She just told you. Then you can keep it going from there

Michael Buble, Julie London, the list goes on. Best course of action is to create a Pandora station based on something like one Michael Buble song you think would be perfect, then let Pandora do the hard work for you. I discover a lot that way. Just thumbs down anything that doesn't fit, and soon you'll have molded it into exactly what you want. I have one for Buble, Julie London, Elle Fitzgerald, Theivery Corp, etc. The best one for me personally I've found is the list that Pandora creates around "Too Close" by Alex Claire. Doing that caused me to find "Crave You" by Flight Facilities, which this gorgeous woman (probably the sexiest woman I have ever dated) liked so much she looped it for an entire weekend after I played it for her, and it became our song. There is nothing special about the song that works magic, I could just tell it would fit her style very well. The playlist doesn't quite fit your Playboy Jazz vibe, but it works well. Speaking of that, there is an actual Playboy Jazz After Dark album, and it is fantastic. "At Last" by Ella Fitzgerald is on there...wow. The album is classy, not sleazy. Unfortunately it can be hard to find tracks and I don't think you can buy it on CD to rip.

One of the best albums you can possibly play is by Lovage and it's called Music To Make Love To Your Old Lady By. Trust me on this. Mike Patton from Faith No More made it and it is perfect. Very cool music and overtly sexual but it's so cool it doesn't scream "I'm putting this on to get you in the mood for sex". OP - you are classy as hell for listening to THAT to set the mood.

I go more for lounge/jazz/R&B/Soul for creating a relaxing atmosphere. Cocktails are a good thing to add to that.

Create a Pandora station seeded with "Me And Those Dreamin' Eyes Of Mine" by D'Angelo. You'll have some solid gold tracks flowing from that.

You've got a lot of great stuff already in this thread, and all of it is golden. As for the song you've used as an example, I'd like to say that it HAS worked inadvertently for me already, so don't discount it. Bitches love Sam Cooke (not what you posted, but he has a great rendition of Summertime).

Here's the thing: if you can show passion about WHATEVER you put on, you're set. But if you want the mood to deepen, you can never go wrong with some Bossa Nova. Stan Getz, Antonio Jobim, or even Joao Gilberto.

I would personally go with some post-rock, like Explosions in the sky, Collapse under the empire, pg.lost, etc (try for example Explosions in the sky - Your Hand in Mine)

Though everything everyone posted here may be fine, I would never use that because that’s not what I like, and that’s just not me.
