A key concept of seduction is self improvement. we are not truly successful if all we do is know how to attract women. Becoming someone of high value is someone who is both able to hold a position of power and leadership (ex: being the person of high status in their social circles) as well as being well respected and trusted by their peers. I've spent the past 3 years working on my game and redeveloping my personality to be able to find the most success in both my professional and personal life. I've devised my own personal guide in how to develop a high value and persuasive personality.
1. Influence
Influence by definition is our own ability to have an effect on someone else, whether it be their character or their actions. To become someone who is highly influential, we must be able to provide others emotional satisfaction with our own actions. Now, what do I mean by this? Human's naturally gravitate to people who they see as high value. High value characteristics involve the following: Someone who is able to take leadership and responsibility, someone who fixes problematic situations through understanding the other person (as opposed to simply criticizing them without any effort to fix things yourself). Someone who is able to provide motivation for others to improve and better themselves rather than bring them down. Someone who is able to stand by their own opinions and is uncaring for the opinions of others on them.
By following these key concepts of being someone of high value, we satisfy people's emotional needs of being in a win-win relationship and become someone of influence. In the end, we all seek to benefit ourselves by finding relationships with people who are able to give out a positive energy, we are naturally drawn to these people because of the positive emotions that they transfer to us.
2. Building Rapport
Building new relationships is based on the foundation of building rapport with that particular person. To effectively build rapport with someone else, we must be able to relate with them on an emotional and intellectual level. Building rapport involves connecting with other people through their commonalities.
A great way to build rapport is to show GENUINE interest in the other person, don't attempt to build a friendship through false flattery, seriously, part of being a good person is to be able to understand the other person because you actually want to know about them. Have conversations and steer it towards their values, beliefs, likes and dislikes. Have them talking about themselves and show them that you are GENUINELY interested in their personality and the type of person that they are in general. We often find ourselves appreciative of those who take their time to understand us, and lets be honest, we love talking about ourselves. Someone is able to feed our love of talking about ourselves is someone of great value.
It is also important to be able to remember the things that the other person indulges about themselves when they talk with you. Be able to bring it up in future conversations to show that you were GENUINELY interested in what the other person has to say. Talk about topics that interest them and in return they will also want to know the kind of person you are, before you know it they will be genuinely interested in getting to know you. Thus, a healthy rapport is built between you and the other person.
3. Use empathy, not apathy
In order to be successful in having others trust you and respect you, you have to be able to be empathetic of the people you get to know. When someone messes up a task or request that you have given them, we may find ourselves choosing to criticize the other person. This leads to no positive outcomes if criticizing is the only thing we are able to do. Understand what may have been going through the other person's mind when they messed up, put yourself in their shoes. Let them know that it's ok and that you understand, provide trust.
The most effective leaders were not those that were harsh to their friends and peers, but were those who understood empathy well and improve those around them by raising their value, not lowering their emotional self esteem. I should note that the best way to deal with someone who messes something up or is in need of advice when they're doing something wrong is to apply constructive criticism, rather than simply criticizing them and doing nothing to improve the situation.
4. Leading
Leading involves several different factors in order for people to see you as a leader. A leader is someone who is able to take charge in a situation and produce effective results. A leader is someone who takes in the advice from others to heart and is appreciative of those people. A leader is someone who says they will do something and actually does it. A leader is someone who doesn't whine and moan, instead, they choose to get straight to working hard to fix any problems in their lives or supporting others in fixing their problems.
Leading isn't just going to your group of friends and telling them what you guys are doing today without any open ears to what they're interested in doing. A true leader takes into account what everyone says and comes up with a conclusion that satisfies all parties. We all value those who care for what we want and not just what they want themselves.
5. Believing and standing for your own beliefs, values, and opinions
Someone who is of high character is someone who believes in themselves. When we are asked to what exactly are our beliefs, values, or opinions, what do we say? Do we tell people a dishonest answer that they want to hear just so we can flatter them? Or do we tell them what we truly think and stand by what we say. Choosing to stand by your own views will garner you more respect than being unsure of yourself and only saying things that you hope will get people to like you. Even if your beliefs lead to someone disliking you for them, they will still have respect for you in the back of their head for being someone that doesn't just say something to please everyone around them.
You also have to show that you don't care about other's opinions of you through body language and your words. True power is given to those who trust in themselves, they don't just try to conform with everyone else, they stand for themselves and their beliefs. Being able to show that you don't care if someone criticizes your beliefs will ultimately lead to more people being attracted to you because you are able to respect yourself.
6. Being a true alpha male
One of the most important aspects of earning the trust and respect of your peers is to be able to give value. Believe that you are someone of high self value and that you wish to share that value with other people, not just keep it to yourself. Don't be a push over or be submissive, but be able to compliment others and offer them emotional support and sound advice in their times of need.
Someone of high value is not someone that feels the need to devalue others. A douchebag looks at people and see's a caste system of those who are below him. An alpha male sees the people around him as equals and all deserving of his value. Remember, to be genuinely good person is to be able to go around life not judging those around them and being able to have others value the time that you spend with them.
Someone of true high value sees no need to look down at others. You are someone who emotionally satisfied with themselves and has no need to feed your ego by dismissing those around you.
Conclusion:
Accomplishing all these will guide you to the path of developing a personality that is both influential and attractive. You will be respected and appreciated by those around you and you will find others looking at your for leadership. You'll also find yourself meeting and befriending more people because others will naturally gravitate towards you. I hope that this guide has helped you in your journey to improving your lifestyle, whether it be your game, your personal relationships, or your professional career.
