Usually I pull Netflix and chill on day 2.

If I can do a day 1 Netflix and chill, it’ll be from a different venue such as dinner or lunch.

I usually escalate slowly. Two steps forward 1 step back always. My first escalation will NOT lead to an attempt to take off her shirt.

Within 30 minutes, I will have made out with her and maybe gone for her ears, neck, and maybe stomach.

The foreplay continues to slowly escalate.

Pause the movie. Pauses are your friend. Pause and say “hey are you hungry?” Spontaneously order pizza. Or “I’m gonna get us some more wine.” Or “this movie is boring. Let’s play a board game instead.” Or pause the movie and take a restroom break. When you sit back down, sit facing her completely. And escalate spontaneously.

Build the adventure in the girl’s mind. Literally you are both sitting on the same couch for the next few hours. But in the girl’s mind, you guys have shared so many experiences.

Play wrestle with her. Keep going. And keep escalating. I’ll push the girl down, stare at her while biting my own lip and whisper: “I’m trying so hard not to do something naughty to you right now.” Then I bite her trap. (The muscle on the side of the neck that connects to the shoulder.) After that, I sit back up, offer her a hand, pull her back up, and blame her for distracting me. And I resume the movie.

Two steps forward, one step back. I cannot emphasize this enough. This type of slow escalation will defeat LMR. The girl will escalate on you. And you guys will have some pretty amazing sex.

I choose a movie that isn't seriously interesting, something that we can commentate on and laugh at (cheesy romantic movie, something she has seen before, a bad horror, something with bad acting, SHREK, etc.)

I start straight away as she arrives with small touching. Things like a hug, a tap on the hand, sitting with our legs/shoulders touching.

And then some point in our chat during Shrek we stop paying attention to the movie. I'll start focusing on her eyes more, talk slower and glance down at her lips to gauge her reaction and if she looks at my lips or smiles with that knowing twinkle in her eyes then i'll lean in.

Its not the same in every hookup. For example I invited a girl back to my place two and a half weeks ago and when we were choosing a movie we couldn't decide so I challenged her to a wrestling match; winner chooses the movie. We wrestled and I let her win (that's my story and I'm sticking to it) and while she had me pinned down she kissed me.

Sometimes that awkwardness is sexual tension which is good.

Personally, I NEVER expect sex, simple, and don’t act like a prick if you don’t get it, but don’t overlook obvious signs either. If you’re in the living room, kiss a bit, then ask “can we move this to my room?” If you’re in your room, you’re already past that step, if she says “next time” or “I should be going” brush it off. Say “that’s fine, may I drive you home?” Or “may I walk you to your car?”, or “may I call you an Uber?” Even in a city with good transit this is a nice gesture. If she’s interested, it will happen next time, or eventually, if not, it wasn’t gonna happen anyways, no point in making yourself look like a jackass.

Usually you end up banging. You just have to not fuck it up. The most common way to fuck it up is to take it for granted and escalate way too quickly/creepily.

I unfortunately live with my parents, so I can't ask people to come over and Netflix + chill. It makes it hard, because it takes a lot of the initiative out of my hands, and I have to hope that I wind up with girl who (1) has got her own place, and (2) invites me to her place. Pretty much, I have to hope that the stars align.

That actually happened not too long ago. I put on a shitty movie (The Hangover— damn, I'd never seen it, and 20 minutes in, neither of us had laughed at this shitty bro comedy once, and I have no idea why it's so lauded), I was sitting next to her, and since I'm myself inexperienced and awkward with this stuff, I just could not find a "right moment" to actually make a move.

But then I told myself, hey, there will be no "magical moment" that's totally perfect to start escalating, so I may as well stop waiting for one. Either way, I'm going to leave her place not having had slept with her, she's going to think I'm lame, and she'll suddenly lose interest and I'll get the "sorry, I'm not feeling the spark" text the next time I ask her out. And, if she invited me to her place to watch a movie, it's more likely than not she's expecting sex herself. I mean, we were originally supposed to go to an art gallery, but she was the one who said she's too tired to go out and would prefer if I just came over instead, so, like… there isn't any clearer signal than that.

So, I just started running my fingers through her hair, we started kissing, and one thing led to another.

Afterward, she told me that even though "come over to watch a movie" is often used as a euphemism, she actually sincerely meant that and wasn't anticipating sex. I just said "sure you weren't."

So... if I ask a girl to Netflix and ice cream and the vibe is right, she generally knows it’s about to go down. Adam Sandler movies are the best movies for Netflix and chill, that or adult cartoons (Big Mouth, Bojack Horseman). Never watch anything good. One time I smooshed to 2 1/2 episodes of Black Mirror. The key is to get the vibe right, otherwise she’ll show up and question you when you try to make a move. How to initiate it? KINO! Kino is the way to initiate the chill part. There’s not really an exact time to start, it’s just a matter of escalating. If you don’t escalate, she might (That’s happened to me where the girl made the first move) but most of the time, they’re more scared about it than you are. So be a man and as the Little Mermaid says “Kiss the girl”

When I first met my latest ex, I spontaneously asked her if she wanted to come back to my place, after our first date, which was a coffee date. She went along with that. So back at my place we hung out, I slowly started touching her, and she reciprocated, saying that she liked to snuggle, and we hugged and such. Though, later she told me that we only snuggled as friends. That brought me a second or two of hesitation, but then I remembered some good advice, told her bluntly but gently at the same time that I weren't interested in being just friends. She said then that it was up to me to decide if she would leave or if she would sleep over. (She lives an hour and a half away from my previous apartment). I said that I would like her to stay. Then that was that for a while, I took it easy with her, and we went out and bought pizza, watched Family Guy and then she wanted to snuggle and hug me again, so I let her. We hugged more, and I initiated a bit, and she didn't mind. When it got late I simply brushed my teeth and went to bed. She came and hugged me closely while I was laying in bed and told me that it was too bad that my bed wasn't bigger, cause she wanted to sleep next to me. I agreed with her, but stayed in my bed. A few minutes later she more or less begged me to come and lay next to her, so I did. And as we was laying there close to each other we stopped talking and I noticed her hand had found a certain ... It felt good, the things we did that night, and the next day we were kissing like it was the most natural thing in the world. She took the bus home and the rest is history.

So the point I'm trying to make by sharing this is to be persistent in a gentle way. Be honest and open with what you want, and negotiate from a point of strength if that situation occurs. If she test you with the "lets be friends" thing, say what you want in a blunt but respectful manner. Touch her a bit, and then back off in a warm and gentle way. Let her come to you at her own pace. She will be ready for you when she is and she will show it.
