You should always work on bettering yourself, dress sense, hygiene, fitness, etc. These will give you net confidence as well as give you more LIFE opportunities. Good dress sense can easily add +2 or more points to your overall attractiveness. You could be an invisible 5 but good hair, clothing and some flair will bring you up to an 8.

I wear patterned dress shirts most of the time and women regularly compliment me on them, simple necklaces that cost me $3 on Aliexpress often get women fondling it, or asking me questions about it. A good haircut really matters too.

I strongly recommend reading "body language" by Barbara and Allan Pease, not only will this make you more aware of IOIs but make you a better communicator

Always work on yourself, but also realize iois don't tend to happen when you are looking for them.

IOIs happen when you aren't even paying attention, because women want what isn't easily available, so you will never know about most IOIs you have actually had aimed at you.

With all that said, don't worry about IOIs. They are not required to start a conversation, just be normal. Just have regular conversations with women and see who you vibe with and who gives you IOIs directly.

No, most women are rather reserved and careful in terms of initating interaction with male strangers. In my experience mostly top guys can expect getting directly approached and pursued. Many of masculine qualities can only be presented in the actual interaction anyway. I would rather maintain the mindset to take charge and take your fate in your own hands, it will not only help you with getting women but in life overall. Take your improvement step by step, don't search for tricks and easy way, it won't work in the long run.

Who said you need a IOI from women to approach? Of course, it is easier to make a move if there is an eye-contact for example but you don;t need a particular signal to start a conversation with a stranger.

I'm 46, only 170. watch this VIDEO, do you see any IOI from these two ladies? No way! But I still tell them my opener - if they are friendly and want to have fun, great, otherwise there are other women and try again. It is literally impossible to get rejected by all women unless you do something really stupid, maybe you will get a phone number just to let them go, but even in that case you will still get a number. While you are improving your appearance (I don;t know how you can do that except surgery), I suggest you approach women with an "excuse me" - you don;t need an IOI signal. However don't forget about daily grooming because your hygiene must be impeccable, women have a more developed sense of smell than men (almost 50% more than men).

Don’t look for them. Get them out of your head as something that you need to be able to engage. Girls can be very obvious when they’re interested and some are very shy.

Work on becoming better at being charismatic and charming. Then use it to be more social. Once you interact and mingle with more people, pay attention to how the cute girls react to you when you interact with their friends or their group. If they give you IOIs, then go talk to them later, or chat them up and ask them for a date.

Also read upon IOIs. There are just sooo many of them, down to girls just hovering nearby you, without smiling or even looking your way. A girl who does that, is almost always interested in you. So say hi to her. Just an example.
