Only you can make that decision for yourself. Take responsibility and dont offload your life choice to the internet haha. But for my two cents, learning pickup is a full time job for a year or two. Especially if you want to learn it fast and "get good" at the end.

This is a nothing question. You can cold approach for any reason including wanting a relationship. It's really up to you if you want to add talking to strangers anytime anywhere as part of your lifestyle. Any strategy you do in dating, don't expect immediate results. Even if you meet people without cold approaching, you're still building a connection with those people, and that connection is essential even if you want something casual or ONS, and that's if they decided they want to build a connection with you too.

My answer to this. If you want to date or meet people, then go meet people. Join clubs, classes, third spaces, etc. If you want to focus on your work and school, then do just that. If you're looking for some balance, follow the perato principle (80% doing this, 20% doing that). It's up to you on how you want to structure that.
