Now, I'm not the type of person who spends all day chatting on the internet and if I can help it, I stay away from the computer as much as possible except when working on something. I like to go out and do things because I'm an extravert and hate being locked up inside the house all day.

If I had to stay inside all day, I would go certifiably mad. I certainly don't stay all day locked to the computer screen engaged in endless debate and arguments answering messages on discussion group sites lol.

I like to do things OUTSIDE! You know, get fresh air, see sunshine, walk around with my dogs. I don't even understand how men can stay all day glued to the computer screen talking about whatever. I mean, that's BORING because I like to actually SEE PEOPLE lol!

Anyhow, I was at my local neighborhood coffee shop this morning and noticed a super fine, tall, fit man ordering a soy caramel latte (my favorite coffee drink!) We got a little bit of chitchatting as we were sitting nearby each other as he commented on a book I was reading and he told me after awhile that he recently went through a traumatic divorce and now that he got his head of out of the deep end of the pool, he was looking towards doing things for self-improvement.

I was a little shy about trading contact info but I think he caught me staring at him a few times, or rather pretending to examine the mural behind his head lol.

Admittedly, he's recently divorced so probably not looking to date anyone, so I was thinking perhaps have a platonic friendship based on mutual goals of self-improvement?

Thoughts? How would you have handled this conversation?
