These women are asking if you are gay because they like your style and are ATTRACTED TO YOU but want to make sure you are on the right team (straight). In other words, you are probably a "Dandy" seduction Type from Art of Seduction by Robert Greene. Read the book (at least seduction and victim types) and use the Dandy type to your advantage. Some girl asked me if I was gay one night because she overheard my friend and I talking about hair. I definitely spend more time on my appearance than other guys but I just went with it. My buddies went with it. We had a blast all night and she couldn't tell if I was being serious or not until I asked her if she wanted a ride home. She was reluctant until I dropped the goofy attitude and assertively said "I'm not gay, get in my car." F-close and afterward I sarcastically said "so how did it feel to fuck a gay dude?" She couldn't stop laughing. I really don't know if this will work for everyone but since then if a chick asks me if I'm gay I turn it into a fun game where I just completely embrace it. I love hitting them with that line after. Works like a charm.

So basically you can even get laid if you tell a chick you're gay.

I love this question. I get it occasionally because I am generally well dressed and of slimmer build. My response is to step back half a step, look them in the eye, smirk (just a small one) look them up and down 1 time then step back in, put my hand on their lower waist and say into their ear "Put your hand on my crotch and find out". I generally do it in an overly dramatic way so as to let them know I'm joking. The ice is broken and its on. This is the best shit test to open doors.

I got this sometimes. To be honest, I don't know why it happens exactly - I definitely don't look like some bitch boy, my best guess is that guys in my area all look the same (checkered shirts, straight jeans, some generic haircut) and I put much effort into my looks so I stand out like a sore thumb - gay guys usually look good as well. But I do know how to deal with it - just treat it as an IOI. She might be opening you in a teasing way. I usually tease her back with something that will come to my mind at the moment and start working on her if I like her.

I love it when I get asked this question! It happens regularly because I'm not your typical macho man wannabe. Usually, and you can tell by their tone when asking, they ask because they are interested in you. Just be cool, unaffected and even let out a knowing chuckle, like you've been asked this question before, when they ask. My response is usually a simple smile with a "no, are you?". Seems to work well for me. And just to put this out there some of the guys I know who sleep with the most women are also some of the most effeminate.

I actually had a girl ask me this because she was leaning on my back in a bar and I had stopped paying her any attention.
