You were validating their looks and handing out compliments without them having earned it. This DHV's them and DLV's you somewhat.

Try and be a bit more sparing with your compliments (I only give out compliments when a girl genuinely does something that impresses me... looks do not count)

giving them a compliment is NOT a problem. confident guys compliment women all the time.

I wouldnt ask a girl if she has a BF, just hit on her and if she does, that's for her to bring up/worry about. I dont think thats a big deal, though. The weird part is when both of you insisted, implying that they were lying and that they MUST have BFs. This is weird as hell and doesnt help your interaction whatsoever. Its almost like you wanted them to not be available. Then why hit on them?

why would you make a girl feel bad for being available?

this is a common insecurity for most girls - if they don't have a boyfriend something must be "wrong" with them

The general consensus in the PUA community is to never, ever compliment as it demonstrates lower value (DLV) for you. If you do compliment, always follow it up with a neg, so there is a push/pull (my personal experience has been this works freakishly well).

If you are going to go direct and call a girl out on her looks and keep complimenting, you better keep on going with that and stay extremely sexual.

Usually when a girl says she doesn't have a boyfriend I just say "I dont have a girlfriend, lets be each other's boyfriend and girlfriend." When this does work allows me escalate kino more quickly than I would have otherwise. I only tried this on JBs, though.

While it sounds like it didn't hurt your game in this situation, I would maintain the alpha persona of her working for you. Make sure complements are given for her good behavior, and behavior you want to see more of. Overall it only hurts your game if you let it hurt your game.

Nooo, you are focusing on the wrong part. It's not that you called them cute, but that you implied that something is so wrong with their personalities that not even their looks can save them, hence no boyfriends. You made it sound like, "you're cute and single? So what's wrong with you!?"
