The overarching goal of most “advanced” material is to develop a practically fail proof system that can win you almost any girl. This might sound appealing (and subsequently sell really well) but in reality, fighting an uphill battle trying to seduce someone who wants nothing to do with you is exhausting and defeating, especially as a beginner.

I’ve always felt that Models approaches pickup in a more organic way. It encourages the development of relatively traditional skills (as opposed to psychological manipulation tactics) and emphasizes playing into your individual strengths. If I am coaching someone, the goal is to get them through the 10-15 step pickup process as quickly as possible. Once they start to see results, their brain will automatically recognize and reinforce the behaviors that work.

You will learn much faster from real world experiences than you will from reading books. Models being significantly “lighter” than 90% of the content out there is a massive advantage. Models also won’t get you cancelled… which is important especially if you’re a bit of a social outcast…

No, it is not like that, because when you talk to someone, you can "feel" if the other person wants to talk to you or not. It's about if she looks at you, participates in the conversation, asks questions, smiles - these are IOI signs, if there is nothing like that you won't stay and talk, in that case you just leave.

So a beginner must be careful whether it is worth talking to the other person or not. It is simple.

What you said is "volume approach". Of course you can do that, but I advise everyone to do it in a different way. My goal is to make a beginner guy to stay in the conversation for 1 minute, then 2 minutes, then longer.... this is how a guy will get used to talking to a girl. It is in vain to approach 10-15 girls with "hit and run" method, you won't learn anything like that.

Learning from mistakes is not a good way to learn. This is why dating coaches (wingmen or friends) exist, you see them approaching a girl, how they talk, how they escalate, how they joke... so the next time the guy repeats what he saw the other person do. A book that teaches me a structure/game/routine/script is much better than a book that tells me how to be the best version of myself.

Mystery's book describes a structure to follow, so if you understand the book, you know your progress and you know what you have to do to reach the next level. I see this book as more valuable.

First of all, there’s a huge difference between “easier” and “simpler”, this is why Mistery and Models are the opposite:

Mistery method is overly complicated and mostly lies on outer game (looks, negs, routines). It’s basically a rigid set of behaviors to act. I concede it has some basic theory concepts which are correct, like the stages of the process (approach, comfort/attraction, escalation, closing), but it fails with the application of these concepts. It’s not simple, but it’s easy to follow once you grasp it.
Models is plain simple in concepts because the only rule is to be (or become) the best version of yourself. Instead of acting like someone you aren’t, or following scripts, or manipulating insecure women, Models keeps the focus on self improvement. That’s why it’s hard to apply for many people: because it requires a lot of inner work, time and effort, but what you gain will stick with you forever.

I’m not going to say that Mistery is outdated (it is, to some extent) or bullshit (it isn’t, to some extent), but I suggest to not take it word for word, because it has many flaws and doesn’t improve your personality. The good parts are how it shows the general “workflow” to seduce someone from approach to bed.

On the other hand, Models won’t tell you what to say or do, that’s something you need to grasp and develop by yourself. But it will show you how to accept yourself and improve for your own overall benefit. In this context, it’s hard to consider “outdated”. What it says about dating apps is open to discussion: those apps work in a certain way and they might work or not work for everyone, regardless of age.

When you read Models, did you notice a lot of contradictions in the book?

The author says that you don't need humor because you're not there to entertain the girl, but later he says how important it is to use humor and gives some ways of being humorous explaining in 4 pages
He says you don't need IOI signals (as Mystery says) from the girl, then later he insists on recognizing the "signals women give" and gives some examples.
He says that seduction is not about games, push-pull, banter etc - but later he says that is good to inject games into any interaction with a woman and he gives examples. The same is true with KINO, saying that is not necessary and will confuse a beginner, but later he explains how important is to use KINO.

Also someone "needy" in his book is actually an AFC in Mystery's book (so... both are talking about the same thing)

I had time to read the book again and at first it looks like he has found a new method of seduction, but later he reverts to the Mystery's method - he says the same thing but in other words and tries to simplify that method by saying that you don't need a routine/script/game/kino.... because "you are a man, you can say whatever you want"

The summary of the book in one sentence is very simple: "be the best version of yourself", if it doesn't work like that, then you find an "unreceptive woman", so you have to find another woman, because it's the woman's fault.

(Mystery's book) is outdated ... and bullshit ...... has many flaws
