Just felt like writing this up, to see if anyone had any thoughts:

I was at a rather hippie cafe that I like to hang out in. Chumping alone, as usual. But I did learn a little by watching.

This cafe has big windows so you can see people sitting and walking by out front on the sidewalk, where there are always a lot of people. Generally they're the kind of people you'd expect to see at a hippie cafe: nutty homeless people, wannabe artists, people with ukeleles and Che Guevara tshirts, and green coats with that little Germany flag... wtf is up with that little Germany flag?

I digress.

So then I see this girl walk in with a guy. She reminded me of a young "Rosemary's Baby"-era, not-yet-insane Mia Farrow. A lot like this, but less zombiesquely gaunt. She was flaunting some rather delectable midriff too.

The guy she was with was average-looking. The only detail I noticed was that he seemed to have on an expensive-looking pair of glasses, and that he was a step more formally dressed than the other people. Well, two steps more formal than the Che Guevara tshirts.

But what amazed me was just how constantly and blatantly he was touching her, and how much she seemed to not just allow it, but feed off of it. The girl was really model-level beautiful; she turned heads when she walked in. But she only paid attention to this random guy. She constantly turned to put her head on his chest, seemed not to want to let go of his hand. She was sprung.

The bit of kino that amazed me the most was when he totally ruffled up her hair. I mean, this is the kind of girl who spends $$$ on haircuts, right? And he just sort of ruffled it up like she was a puppy and laughed. And she put her head on his chest again, leaving her hair like that.

So then he makes this rather hilarious exit: a huge white SUV pulls up, and he says something to her, jumps in, and leaves. Believe me, an SUV appearing at this particular venue is hilarious beyond words.

I really found myself wondering if the guy was a PUA, because just the ease and confidence with which he seemed to handle this girl was so flawless.

Props to you, wherever you are.
