Sure, some girls do view cats as feminine. But do you really want to get in a serious relationship with a girl whose so shallow she'll reject you for having a cat?

I have a cat and its awesome. It actually often becomes another excuse to go back to my place to meet her.

BUT, it seems like half the fucking girls in LA are allergic, which is fucking annoying.

I personally don't like cats (unless it's that corgi cat), and the fact that cats are often associated with that whole internet beta nerd thing doesn't help either. If i were you, i would forgo the cat until you have worked on your inner game/confidence.

Well, I feel I need to chime in on this one. Get a cat, they are awesome. I've never had an issue with bedding a girl as a result of having cats at home. You can use it as an excuse to get them into your house, but that's not really my style- would rather just bring her up with no pretext.

A large % of girls are allergic- and it varies from some sniffling to swollen eyeballs and full body rashes. I've had allergies cockblock me in the past, but usually I can just see them at their place in the future, so it isn't a huge deal.

It will turn off women who don't like cats
it will turn off women who are allergic to cats
It will attract women who like cats, which means that they are looking to fulfill their motherly instincts and will see you as the perfect husband

Why can't you get a dog? Living on your own is no excuse not to have a dog. You take it out for walks. It makes you more social since you have a conversation piece (hey wanna pet my dog?) and girls will go up to you to talk to you about your dog. You get to meet girls at the dog park. You get exercise. You can't have a mess at home since the dog will eat it. Get a dog. Cant won't love you in the same way. I've met 3 lovely cats, all of them were owned by the same person, that I could say were emotionally captivating as a dog would be. But the rest of them just eat, look nice and have you clean their shit.

Cats are awesome. I think I can speak for many in saying this. If the girl is thinking "Not sleeping with him... he's got a kitty!" then she's not for you.
