Classic case of how men are usually way more overinvested (and way more romantic) than women in the early stages of dating. No need to "confess" anything. Just ask her out on a date. If you do want to reference it, simply say something like "you a look a little familiar." But the more important thing is to plan a date and finally meet this woman you've been thinking way too much about. I'm seeing a girl who I matched with like a year before. I don't think she remembers and I never brought it up. I completely forgot about it until this thread reminded me. Who cares? It doesn't mean anything.

She most likely doesn't remember you what so ever. It's been four years, and assuming she is at least average, she's probably acquired tens of thousands of matches in this time period. Don't bring it up, she may think it's weird that you remembered her after so much time. Furthermore, doing so provides no purpose. benefit to you. What's she going to respond with? Nah, she doesn't remember you? Then what?

I've rematched with women from times ago after they left me on read and unmatching, and scheduling dates with them again, and I never brought it up. There's literally no point.

Banter back and forth for like 2-3 messages, and then ask her what her availability is to go on a date. Anything else is just wasting time because dating apps is all about physical appearance. Stop texting her like a pen pal and start texting her like a romantic interest.
