To make a long story short, I matched with this absolutely gorgeous girl on Bumble, who I later realized is someone I matched with a long time ago (like 4 years back) and was probably my favorite person ever on an app to chat with. We never met back then since we lived in different cities and few other reasons but due to chance, we actually both live in the same city now, and her distance is like 10 miles away from me.

She has absolutely zero clue who I am, and our convo only progressed as much as 4 messages (her messaging hi , me returning the message and trying to strike a convo, her messaging, me messaging). My last message was about 20hours ago and after that nothing. I get that people take a while on apps to reply (i sometimes don't bother to reply for up to 2 days), but I want to at least let to let her find out who I am. Obviously scoring a date would be perfect, but one can't control the luck factor on apps (how busy a girl is, how many guys she's talking with, what stages she's at with each, etc.)

After how much should I follow-up, and should I immediately say in the first follow-up something along the lines of "Hey I know this is weird, but I think you're the person with the [insert thing I remember about her] I used to text a long time ago".

Basically, what's the MVP way to play this?
