I'm getting better at applying direct rules and gearing up and down.

But one thing I like to toy with is the idea of silence.

In all honesty, what advantage can I get from being silent while she talks? I can look at my watch, or glance away to get her to fight for my attention, or to subtly tell her she's boring.

But even though that's a good way to get her to put her attention in to me; how much silence can I get away with without coming off creepy?

TL;DR: How much silence should I apply to seem more awesome/mysterious? Suggestions?
