You know, in theory I hate it, but having said that, me and a friend a month or two back were out and we wanted to toy with our friend who had decided not to go out so we though we'd snap chat him all night with pictures of us and different girls. It was a surprisingly effective opener.

A friend of mine does something similar, seems to always open conversations and get some good vibes going. He'd hand a girl his phone saying "can you take a photo of me and my friend", then when he goes to get the phone back he'll say something to the effect of "OK, now us", and go for the selfie.

Effectively it works the same, but just with an extra step to bridge the trust gap with girls who are a bit more apprehensive with new people.

i used to do this several years ago before smart phones were a huge thing. My friend had one of those shitty flip cameras and we would take turns asking girls for a quick picture but really we were shooting video. it worked well and we ended up editing a few pretty funny videos that we shared on facebook. Some of the girls ended up being regulars in the vids and always asked when the next installment was coming out. They would really go the extra mile to get a few seconds of camera time lol

So for the past two times I went out to the bars with friends, I decided that I should take drunken selfies with random strangers (with their permission of course). It's pretty easy and people are surprisingly ok with it. It's a great way to break the ice and get people friendly with you! I ended up getting 2 kisses and a number out of it last night without even expecting it.

Of course. Bringing the fun will lead to connection. Connection is the cornerstone of seduction. People seem to think it's about "talking sexy" when that has nothing to do with it. You have and share fun with people and relate to them during the experience, and they'll open up and connect with you.

All I did was walk up to people and say "Hey I have a tradition I do where I take drunken selfies with random people at the bar. Would you guys be down for one with me?"

You don't even need the "Would you guys be down?" part. Just the part stating that you have a tradition is enough. Then assume they'll be down for the fun! You have enough reference experiences with this that you know that fun people will be fun and people with a stick up their asses will react the same way they would in any case.

I wasn't really trying to pickup any girls with this, it was more of just for fun I guess. But it's a really quick and easy way to break the ice and start a conversation with groups of people. Just move from one group to the next until you find people you like and then you can hone in on a girl pretty easily from there.

As an activity, this is good. The words aren't even as important as the fact that you're posing for pictures and that's fun.

Another fun ice-breaker: candy necklaces. They used to sell them everywhere, now they're harder to find, but it's basically small circle candies strung on an elastic necklace. I wore one to a party once, it got lots of attention from people wanting to try one, and all I said was "help yourself, but you can't use your hands." Worked great, and you can let guys and girls do it to create the sense that you're the center of fun-slighty-sexual-attention.
