It's not something you can force. The connection is there or not.

But in the beginning, I'd not give him everything too fast. Leave him wanting more the first few dates. Many men lose interest after having "conquered" someone. But at the same time u need to make him. Hot and horny for you. And in the meanwhile focus on building a connection.

I may need more context but from the sounds of it but did you know this guy growing up? If both your parents are friends im guessing you guys have at least crossed paths once or twice.

Anyhow, i think you hsould just expect that this may just be sex for him. Maybe not. Maybe he really wants something with you and has liked you for sometime but never got the courage to say anything. But again, if he's a pro (not sure what level or sport even) odds are he may be getting a bit of attention from girls and depending on his ager might want to have some fun and be fouces on that.
