Long story short, I am 26 years old and got dumped by my girlfriend of 5 years ~5 months ago. We decided to move in together, and within 1 month, she broke it off. The reasons she gave were that we had drifted apart, and that I "party" too much, so she fell out of love with me. I would have proposed to her by now if she didn't break it off. The hardest part of this is that she was a legit HB9 (I am not exaggerating this because I am in love with her). I refuse to downgrade now, so I am trying to step up my game. I attended a PUATraining bootcamp 2 weeks ago and have gone out a few times alone since then, opening a few sets each time. I have not dated/hooked up since the breakup, so this may also be contributing to the one-itis, but my game is not solid enough yet to run solid game. I honestly don't know how I got her in the first place... it just sort of happened effortlessly. But I don't want to wait around for someone that high quality to "find me" again.

So here are my questions:

  1. Is there any way to game back an ex? Or is this impossible to do? She is also currently seeing someone else (of course... women that hot rarely stay single for long).

  2. How do I get out of my slump? I know that I am supposed to go out more (even alone) and try to meet girls. Nobody seems to stack up to my ex though. I've even tried online dating sites, but anyone that is high quality enough for me doesn't respond to my messages. It almost feels like I've set the bar too high, and it will be impossible to find someone that fits my high standards.

Any help is appreciated, thanks! Shawn
