So uh, one of the best skills you (or anyone) can develop is ‘active listening’. This is basically what it sounds like; asking the right questions about what someone is saying, listening patiently and not waiting to just interject or say your own piece. Repeating back some of the things they’ve said, like “So you were going back to your buddies house, and you guys found a skateboard…”.

This is seriously underrated when it comes to not just general socializing, but seduction as well. This makes you more charismatic, interesting, and fun to talk to & be around. Eventually in the person talking, they’ll realize they haven’t asked anything about you, and they most likely will.

Remember that with seducing women, less is more. The less she knows about you, the more interesting & ‘mysterious’ you are to her, which raises her attraction to you. Only giving little pieces of the pie is how you keep her fire for you (among other things obviously).

Asking and answering questions are just some ways to converse. You can always share what you did “last weekend”, “last night”. Sometimes even unprompted. I saw this pattern like every Monday when I started doing my professional work. I observed them like I was some kinda alien, “oh this is how humans interact.”

Like every Monday my colleagues tell each other what they did on the weekend. Bonus point if it is something spectacular or hilarious. But if not that’s okay too. They just shared which restaurant they went on Saturday night, or what food they cooked on Sunday, or what movie they binged all weekend and what they liked about it, maybe the story line, maybe the actor or actresses.

Or when someone shares their stories, you don’t have to ask them questions. You can always respond by sharing your story/experience that is similar or related to what they just told you. That’s how people connect. This is people at work know more about their colleagues’ family members even their names, without physically meeting them just yet.

This one is rough for people who aren't natural at yapping. But I found that a mix of practice and conversation theory helped me.

You can get someone to continue what they're saying by repeating the last few words they said

When people talk, you can choose from the who/what/why/how they offer to get more details

Occasionally offer related experiences/opinions when you have them

Also, just go up and talk to random people. It helps a lot. I'm still not great at talking to women, but I'll go up to any guy, group of guys or old person and say something I found interesting about them or just a hi, how's it going. People are a lot more chill than I thought, so I'll do it when I'm at the gym, shopping, at sporting competitions or on a night out.

Also, build rapport with people in your local area. I know a good chunk of the staff at my local shops because I always take time to have a short chat about how they're doing or what I'm doing (as long as there's time and I'm not distracting them)

People need to want to talk to you. Easiest way is to be a good conversationalist, but that also doesn't mean the girl will suddenly want you, even if she will ask questions back. I can really get people to open up, they talk most of the time, but don't ask questions back, somewhat 60% of the time it works everytime.

Clever observations, teasing, asking to elaborate, sometimes playing dumb on purpose, it can create a relaxed fun atmosphere.

But I found myself many times in situations where she tells me I look closed of, that she doesn't know anything about me, and I just tell her to ask anything.

I personally find it unnatural to share details about my life when unprompted and I internalized it so on one side I know that I may turn someone off, but on the other side I don't really care about that.

So in the end, find your center and people who will want to vibe with you will and it will be natural and easy

You don't talk about yourself.

A woman's favorite topic is herself and her interests. If you develop curiosity about people, you'll literally never run out of things to say.
