As others have mentioned, it wouldn't be wise to send a picture from meeting someone cold. But it's important you understand the reason WHY and the principle behind this. As another poster mentioned, it does come off as needy...but it also misses the point of what you're trying to do....establish a CONNECTION.

So, with that said...can you think of something from your conversation that you can call back to in order to put the other person in that same emotional mindset? Perhaps something you said to make them laugh or feel on a deeper level? If so...THAT is what you want to call back to.

Examples:

Hey, it's okorange (your favorite new chef)...great meeting you today ;) (Maybe you both talked about food)

Hey, it's okorange...the guy you totally seduced with your dancing. It was great meeting you today! (Maybe you met her at Salsa, eg)

Make her remember how fun it was to meet you! Good luck, OP :)

No. Just tell her that it was nice talking to her. You can bring up something that you two talked about during your approach. After she responds, use texting to set up a date, not to get to know her. A lot of communication is lost over text messages, so you want to get to know her in person.

Yeah send a picture so she can assign you the number so you can wait in line. The reason we need this is because we want to make sure she knows who you are out of 10 guys or so that approached her that day!

Even if she asked for your picture, you should use that moment to playfully tease her. And without even being asked? Like are you trying so hard to please her? What’s next? Money? Clothes? A house?

The problem with sending your pic like that is it could come off as needy. It would be better to have her give her phone to you and you save yourself under your name and then send your phone a text with her phone. Or if she is giving you her number you text her on the spot so she knows your number. Or you can also exchange IGs as well and if you have a good IG that can help attract her.

set up the date on the approach and send her your best photo to remind her who you are! this has been my gold for the past year!! no selfies a good photo u would use on tinder ! MY flake rate went way down something like 80% and closing way more often as well

in the covo i tell them I'm going to send them a photo so they don't forget how hot i am lol they just normally laugh because they know I'm joking but i also display confident from not taking my self to seriously

Tell her to give you the phone, then text yourself something wild and ridiculous that would make it both impossible to determine who she would say that to (given the specific context), but also just as impossible to forget that you’re the one who sent that to yourself from her phone.

Although she will likely remember this kind of interaction for the rest of her life (at least, that’s the goal), you still don’t leave things up to chance; after texting yourself, create a new contact from that thread, storing yourself with the third name you’d expect her to change it to over the course of your relationship with her (from: 14th Street Bookstore -> ‘John Doe’ -> Hubby).

Despite already having gone far beyond potentially dealing with the issue(s) that you’re alluding to in this post, the final step will be to add a photo for the contact; this is when you’ll put your arm around her for a ‘group’ selfie, take the flick, but then tease her about whatever reason you come up with for not using it while she sees you retake your own selfie, but without her in it.

The first thing she’ll do when you leave, is check for that original selfie…

…imagine how she’ll feel when she realizes it’s not even there
