They can't hold a conversation, and they don't have a thick enough skin. A conversation is pretty easy as long as you listen to the other person. Don't know what to talk about? You aren't listening!

Suppose you walk up to a girl and give your best "Hi how are ya?" She'll probably say something like hello, you shoot her a question like "What's up with this 1.80 guacamole tax?" (We're in chipote) what do you expect her to talk about? Either the price, or the guacamole. Maybe she says

"I know right?" Okay bitch. What do you think she was talking about? The price. She agreed it's fucked up, you might then say

"It's really their loss. I would marinade my carnitas in guacamole if it was 75 cents or something. But my two dollars are precious, I have poor kid stuff to do."

Tuh duh, now assuming I've had good body language with this girl she'll be hooked. What does she have to talk about now? Chipotle food, fair price of guac, spending money, but I almost gauruntee she's going to ask me "Whats 'poor kid stuff'?" And then you talk about how you entertain yourself. See how it works? They'll tell you how to talk to them. Just listen to the content and address it.

Thick skin is easy, embrace rejection. The more you come out on the other side of disapproving looks and words the more you realize how little they matter. Yell and make weird noises and laugh too hard out loud in public, especially with friends. It's good for the soul.

Last bits of advice, All this stuff is good to think about and put into practice, but don't worry about it while you're talking to somebody. Just let it flow, don't consider what you're working on until afterwards and then reflect on what you did good and what you did bad. It sounds cheesy but it'll help you cut out mistakes and increase positives.
