PUA theory has advanced quite a lot since then. Not that it could never work, it is just that it is not the best.

Technique (or the practical how-to) is only part of what constitutes the skillset for Daygame. There are other things like your value in general, your logistics and your inner game that you need to develop over time.

Also, be mindful, Daygame is hard and it will take a lot of dedication to even see your first results. This is usually called the 1,000 sets of hell in the community (most people end up with less than 10 lays in those).

Its an old book. There are better ways now, but it's still worth reading.

One good thing about this book is Style (aka neil strauss) is a great writer. So, its a fun read and will pull you into this world of game and pickup. At least how it was back then when most didn't know about it.

It will expose you to old techniques, some ideas that are still relevant today, and it will motivate you to go out and approach. It is a good book.

Try to remember, most people read books like this, watch videos, and never approach. You will have to find a way to do approaches. The books and vidoes won't give you all you need. And its not rocket science. Just go where women are at and start striking up conversations. Learn from every approach. Consider combining cold approach with online dating apps. Find wings. Then read books or watch videos to supplement your learning as you continue to go out.

It’s a very good book to start with, but you need to pay attention to the details.

It’s about beautiful women, not the regular women you see on the street every day. If they’re beautiful, they’ve already heard countless times that they’re hot or gorgeous, and they’re already used to getting attention. You need to keep this in mind while reading the book and understanding why the author talks about all kinds of seduction concepts.

You wouldn’t ‘neg’ a regular woman, and you wouldn’t need to use push‑pull in certain situations, you can skip qualify/disqualify .... and so on.

You know, this is like telling someone they need a ladder without explaining what they want to use it for. In that case, it’s better to get a taller ladder that works for everything, instead of telling them to buy a 1‑meter ladder that they can’t use in most situations.
