I agree that it is important to demonstrate that you are higher value and not afraid of just walking away but I think that the "you're one of those" makes you kind of sound like a drama queen. To be able to just say "It's clear our values differ, it was nice meeting you" or something indicates higher value but doesn't come off as obnoxious or aggressive which indicates insecurity.
[–]deathlux 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I agree that you wouldn't want to come off as obnoxious but your comment appears more rude if you would ask me. Maybe it's just me, but at the end of the day it will come down to your preference in terms of what you say.

page 60 or so

And then...?
Are you expecting her to run after you and remove her clothes on the spot?
Girl rightfully calls you out as a PUA, and you passive-aggressively eject? I'm not a fan.
[–]TheUniversalTruth 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Oh, you're one of those "clothed people"
[–]MistaFANG 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
There is no set in stone 'and then'. Girls could react in hundreds of different ways. They could apologize and in which case I'd say "good, don't let it happen again or I'm divorcing you" (playful banter), they could say 'one of what?' And you'd say one of those girls who doesn't value a guys time by doing ----. Those are just two that I've personally had, but there's plenty more. There have been times where it wasn't successful and I just ended up walking away and leaving her there dumbfounded and never hear from her again.
The whole point of this is abundance mindset. You're subconsciously telling her "I know your type and don't like it. Stop that shit or I'm walking away". The ones who let you walk away you either didn't build enough rapport with or are just not attracted to you, both are cases you should've walked away anyway because you're wasting your time.

theres nothing passive-aggressive going on here.
[–]rootchino 15 points16 points17 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
And with that gem.. unsubscribe. Too many inexperienced people, giving shit advice that somehow constantly hits the frontpage.
The word 'Perfect' in the title should be an instant red flag, this place needs less subs and more knights of new.
[–]Afrojitsu 8 points9 points10 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Agreed. Seduction used to be about playing the part of the man, not snaking around with these fucking mind games. I feel like I'm in 6th grade again

I almost stopped reading at "haven't field-tested but it works 90% of the time".

I say perfect because its a 'one-size-fits-most' and can be adapted (to fit personal game( and used on the spot in a lot (read: most) of situations.
You're really just being a whiny bitch and not contributing anything.
[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
So you say it's perfect and in your justification say it's not perfect.
No, you obviously can't handle criticism. In this whole thread it's YOU who is being a whiny bitch. And what you are contributing is terrible.
[–]fragglemook 9 points10 points11 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Jesus, neckbeard, you need to get out more. This is transparent game playing. It may work on a chick with zero confidence.
It's not the dumb line that might work, it's the fact that showing you are willing to walk away is an attraction switch you need to use just about every time you flirt. There are more fun and subtle ways to do this though, the mere act of working the room means you are unattached to the outcome of the interaction with the target. But it is part of qualification and just looking like you're about to leave for something else elicits the same response.

Projecting your values, that adds nothing to the conversation.
The only value I'm projecting is that the OP's scenario is not a better DHV than simply ejecting without saying anything. It adds a lot to the conversation, sorry you don't agree with my viewpoint, but I'm not here telling you that you are adding nothing to the conversation, I appreciate your additions, no matter how immature.
Just because advice doesn't suit you personally doesn't mean it wouldn't work.
That's a cop out, I never said this wouldn't work. Everything is going to work sometimes (Nice shoes, wanna fuck?)
And you shouldn't be telling people what is and what isn't wrong on a sub about sexual strategy, it's better to ignore material that you don't see fits yourself and let others find value in it.
Actually I should, there is no rule against stating that you think a strategy is bad and giving reasons why you think that. In addition I gave examples of how to DHV better in situations like the OP described. At this point, you are just looking for a reason to justify calling me a white knight and doing it badly, when you could just apologize and admit that we really have the same goal, you just resorted to name calling rather than making a constructive post, then accused me of not making a constructive post. Hypocrisy much?
I made a comment and you called me a white knight. How? I'm not here to protect women from evil PUAs, which you seem to be implying.
I think this strategy isn't very useful in the context the OP laid out, which may have not been exactly how he intended. I could see something like this being useful, but not in the examples OP gave.
How are you DHV by playing games with a girl doing outright rude things like texting on a date or shit-testing you excessively? Wouldn't it be a better DHV to just move on to other girls? This is coming from the perspective that if you truly have an abundance mentality, you don't need to even tell her she's "one of those" you literally don't give a shit, because you know other girls who aren't "one of those" and she's not worth the effort.
And if she calls you out on being a PUA, you don't even really need to eject like this, it happens a lot and the best advice is to own it. Seduction can still work on girls who know that they are being seduced, and it's not rude for a girl to call you out for it.
[–]Afrojitsu 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Let it go, buddy. These /r/seduction creeps will call anyone a white knight that don't put up with the desperate mind games they play with women
[–]OutlawPUA -2 points-1 points0 points 12 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
No, this is awful advice. It's called 'the game' for a reason, homie. I mean, what if shes really hot? Put the effort in and get the reference experience, at least.
[–]frostedbutts9001 5 points6 points7 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Please, never do this.
[–]ackshunpact 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This is very disingenuous and I think any girl with a normal brain will see it as unnecessarily dramatic. but if it works for you, great!
Personally i feel there are much stronger ways to deal with a woman giving you shit. Ways where you project confidence and don't seem overly dramatic. If a girl you like puts some obstacles in your way is it better to squash them and keep going forward or to avoid them and walk away?
You say this trick is DHV but you aren't demonstrating anything but your willingness to play games. It's more like faking high value and hoping she buys into it. If I walk away from a set it's because I don't want to be there any more. if a girl gives me a hard time I handle it like a man. No Jedi mind tricks.

[–]OutlawPUA 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
If there's attraction built up, it will make the target seek validation (qualify). This puts the PUA in a position of high value. This piece does exactly what OP suggests.
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Guys, stop the bullshit. This is clearly a theory and like any other it needs testing. Let's have a constructive debate about this, and not simple "that shit will never work, not even worth trying". Are you guys actually so arrogant that you claim you understand the female brain? The point is, you never know what works.
[–]n1cey 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link
The idea behind this is good, but in realty it will not work that well, because hot girls will just see this as heavy powerplay, and simply move on. They have more than enough guys interested in them.
Here is what I do when she behave this way:
"That is really unpolite of you, I'm afraid that you'll be going home with a notice for you parents (for college/school girls). I'm afraid that just cost you a written warning(work girls). I'm afraid I'm going to have to give you up for adaption. "
I allso reward girls when they do something good, with stars in the book, better grades, promotions, by fake marriage talk, adopting her as my little sister.
I call bs on 90% success rate.
[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I agree, hot girls usually won't chase if you are making it too difficult for them. This might work if you know the girl and will see her another day but if you are hitting on a stranger and you walk away you are basically giving up and won't see her again.
[–]LittlePistol3 points 12 years ago* [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link
Yea, no. I would find that comment/action immature. She might be interested still if she were desperate.
[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (18 children) | Copy Link
Is it guys reacting to girls, or guys teaching girls? Because both methods seems degrading to me. Why not just be authentic and if you don't connect, you don't connect?
[+]MistaFANG -6 points-5 points-4 points 12 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link
I think you're in the wrong subreddit.
[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (15 children) | Copy Link
Is seduction really a 'game'? Is that what we want to teach each other. This a serious question. Who's reacting to who? Are guys reacting to what girls naturally are attracted to? Or are girls reacting to how guys treat them? Do some seduction techniques make one o the other party less valued as people? Are there any other societies that have equitable mating rituals?
[–]Sakred 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I like where you're coming from. FYI, you can safely ignore anyone that says "DHV." You can generally presume they're more interested in facades, appearances, and getting laid than actual seduction.
There is a lot of quality stuff around here, you just have to weed through the terrible mindsets, angst-driven-terminology, and night-club PUA bullshit.
[–][deleted] 12 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link
But doesn't seduction continue in a good relationship?
[–][deleted] 12 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
That's what I'm saying. "Game" should be used before, during, and after a seduction. Don't you think?
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
understanding the dynamics of attraction
So what you're saying is that men should react to how women are and respond accordingly?
[–][deleted] 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
[–][deleted]1 point 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
So basically seduction is about catering to the whims of what girls find attractive even if it goes against what a guy feels is the right thing to do. In no way should the girl try to understand what motivates a man and try to change herself to please him instead. It's always the guys "fault" if something goes wrong.

I like it. For a woman to be doing those things such as texting while on a date or giving you shit tests. Calling her out on it and simultaneously walking away is solid. Shows that you aren't going to put up with that shit.
[–]ForYourSorrows2 points 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
I actually like this. Obviously best to use once you have a little rapport.
[–]throwmc1 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
I like it! Would you say it seriously, or semi-joking and smirking?
[–]mdavis00 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I like it sounds better jokingly, but I bring buckets of sarcasm every where I go, this could work nicely. Thanks
[–]MistaFANG -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Depends on the context, really. Obviously if it were just a slip of tongue or she refused a high-five or something, jokingly. If she grabbed her phone out in the middle of the date and was texting "her best friend", seriously with eye contact, and then walk away.
[–]Sakred 7 points8 points9 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
If she grabbed her phone out in the middle of the date and was texting "her best friend", seriously with eye contact, and then walk away
This makes you seem like a child throwing a temper tantrum when you don't get ALL of the attention you want. How do you know her friend isn't recovering in the hospital, or something like this?
It's fine if you won't tolerate people texting constantly about superfluous topics while you're supposed to be on a date, but there is a better way to handle it.
The first time it happens you can ask, with hopefully earnest concern, "is everything okay?!"
This will probably take her by surprise if nothing is wrong, and give her the opportunity for some emotional connection with you if something is wrong ("Oh he's so perceptive and caring."). If she says, seemingly surprised that you would even ask, "No, why do you ask?" You can then say something like, "I find it rude when people just passively text on dates and wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt that it was something important."
Every woman I would be interested in pursuing further, at this point, would likely apologize. Those that don't, or that repeat the behavior knowing you find it disrespectful, you can then walk away knowing full well you were both on the same page.
Presuming everyone everywhere has the same exact ideas regarding social behavior that you do is kind of absurd, and to punish somebody for not living up to your hidden standards seems pretty immature to me.
