A book that really helped me understand stuff like this is The Definitive Book of Body Language by Allan and Barbara Pease. Definitely recommended.

All good advice but I have a very rough look. Before I start my comment I want to clarify that even though this is on a seduction r/ that I want to appear more charming in general. Even really just more friendly. I am attractive but i look rough. I have tattoos, I'm built and I also don't have a very friendly face at first glance. It isn't until people get to know me that I'm a teddy bear when it comes to friends (no one else, I am how I look when it comes to certain situations). I do treat everyone who talk to me with respect and a smile however people typically don't approach me. So I started wearing brighter colors like yellow, light green, and even pink, and people started talking to me more. Randomly too!
